Nice use of anonymous quote there from Breitbart. It's almost as if they can disguise an opinion piece as a news story.

"Breitbart - making fox news look like journalists since 2007"

Edited to add : I've just read some of the comments on Breitbart, their loonies seem much weirder than ours.

Just what colour are all these "racists" then?
Or arent there any non white racists about?
And who do they vote for exactly?
Stop being silly. UKIP has taken a lot if support from the likes of the BNP.

More members of the public displeased with the current lot looking elsewhere, happy days - after all, voting BNP doesn't automatically make you a bad person, obviously they'll attract some undesirables as any party will, but I think Farages stance on the issue in thst article is very sensible.

I noticed he said he wouldn't have their ex councillers/candidates standing for the party too.

Earth calling Devil2575.

Are racists only white?
Are racists only drawn to vote ukip?
If racists arent only white, ie black, asian etc then who do they vote for?
Id suggest ethnic racists vote for labour because labours the party for them...no?
Who then do these other racists vote for? Ukip?
Id suggest that by definition makes labour a party of racists....

Answer, if you can.

BNP hate UKIP as BNP are anti-immigration, UKIP are pro immigration. BNP still get many thousands of votes.

Even if racist people do vote for UKIP it makes no difference as UKIP's policies are not racist.

Talking of racists, what happened to the racist comment the Conservative Afzal Amin said earlier this week? How come we haven't had to continually hear that inheadline news since?!??

Maybe if his racist remarks were given more press perhaps the Conservatives might get some of the BNP vote.

Or this reporting a mail piece on possible Tory plans to deport illegal immigrants first, appeals allowed when they are in their home country.

Plus Dave to reconfirm his immigration to tens of thousands target, but restrict that to non-EU citizens.

Can this be true or is it just stirring?

Edit: This isn't directed at you Username888.

OT: Those that think the BNP are in any way similar to UKIP or that they're somehow a more extreme brand of conservatism than the Conservatives offer show a staggering level of naivety and inability to think for themselves.

I gather that a previous election the BNP used the slogan 'The Labour party that your parents voted for', this wasn't for no reason. The BNP have much more in common with the SNP.

Having watched the Paxman v. the two Main Party leaders TV show and much of the extensive analysis since, does anyone think Nigel Farage would shape up better in a similar confrontation?

Based on what I've so far seen of Farage, I think he would as he is far better at thinking on his feet than even Cameron who is pretty skillful at doing that too. Unlikely to become a one on one Paxman v. Farage but it would be very interesting if it somehow came about.

Cannot remember the run up to any General Election being so interesting and at the same time so very worrying when considering the vast range of huge problems facing the Nation as a whole and set to worsen unless effective action is taken immediately. Fat chance.

Listen to some of the Farage interviews on LBC. He falls to pieces quite badly when put under pressure. He wouldn't shine against Paxman, certainly. I'd expect excoriation.

Some? Plural? Which one other than bias-o'brien? I *thought* that I had listened to every single one of his LBC interviews, and the only car crash I remember with bias unkept sanctimonious o'brien who, didn't even let Farage finish a sentence, let alone make a point. More of an interrogation than an interview.

I have seen Farage in countless *interviews*, Paxman you name it, and he has very rarely failed to impress.
