It's like homeopathy or thread about directional super extra hifi cables. There are believers and there are people coming in for a quick laugh. I am disappointed by the lack of 'unstoppable train' posts by dan. They were funny.
God they made me cringe! That train de-railed in Thanet!s2art said:
I wouldnt speak too soon. The next 6-8 months will be a Farage fest with the referendum approaching like a steam train.
With one exception, and even he was a loser on May 8th, across all the parties, not a single one of any of the Politicians currently involved with the well being of my Country whether in Government or shadows of their former shadows, inspire much, nay, any confidence. Prior to May 8th, I had some little respect for Cameron but, since then, he has done precious little, nay nothing to change my mind. Correction, he has eroded what little confidence I had in him previously. Am I the only one who sees things this way?
Talk about the least worst of a poor range of choices.
Maybe I am. Probably a sign ... that I'm getting older .... and wiser.
One thing is a certainty, no matter what way the IN-OUT Referendum is worded, it is going to take some miracle to make me change my mindset on how I will vote when the time comes.
We are doomed.

Well, there you go. I know the 'kippers are a brittle bunch, but MGJohn appears to have completely bypassed the Corporal Jones "Don't Panic" mode in the face of adversity, and gone straight to the Private Hudson "Game Over Man!" trouser accident scenario.

I'll know UKIP have past their peak when people who say UKIP are irrelevant can't be bothered to post about them!
It's like homeopathy or thread about directional super extra hifi cables. There are believers and there are people coming in for a quick laugh. I am disappointed by the lack of 'unstoppable train' posts by dan. They were funny. I thought I'd pop back in for another peek. Funny, I can't recall you at all? Let's have a look back. Oh yes, you did do a few posts (count on one hand nearly).
Hmm. Well, well. You haven't been a member of PH for five minutes have you? What car do you own, is it that much of an embarrassment to you?
I've been on here a tad longer than you, I joined 15 YEARS ago. As I said I don't get the opportunity to post too often of late, but I do when able. Tell you what, I've just noted in my diary not to forget to post again on your 'anniversary', perhaps others will join me?
Remember the date: 5th SEPT - it's when JJ will celebrate having been on PH for a massive ...6 MONTHS!
Regards the 'train', I was wrong: it wasn't full of kippers, well, only 4 million. But there's another train on the track now, it's full of economic migrants, so-called asylum seekers and a spattering of refugees. Strangely, 'that train' is really belting down the track and does seem unstoppable doesn't it? Those who laughed at Farage and his doom gloom and migration rubbish seems to becoming a reality, eh? The EU project you types all love is all hunky dory at the moment, eh?
MGJohn is the only one at the moment with his finger on the pulse: UNSUSTAINABLE ...and it is!
And don't think UKIP has gone away, it's just waiting patiently now. Farage has made a couple of brief appearances and makes the simple point about the current happenings. He knows he was right, and unfortunately, many others who doubted him now do. I note Suzanne Evans was given a prominent spot on Newsnight this evening and she certainly put that EU luvvie, Mr Salmond in his place.
And the Referendum is apparently not far away. Personally, with the new wording, I can't see CMD calling it as early as next April which is being touted tonight. Wait and see. Hope I'm wrong again!
VOTE LEAVE!!

It's all right for eharding. He's up there in the clouds!
I'm sure he'll get that one.

I am certain there will be a Sun Tzu quote somewhere that covers, fallback, regrouping whilst your enemies fight among themselves.MGJohn is the only one at the moment with his finger on the pulse: UNSUSTAINABLE ...and it is!

There are plenty more MGJ's about I think but perhaps they are hiding their lights under a bushel
I saw Salmond really floundering last night and it took him a few seconds to get his words out at one point...Ms Evans certainly seems to have something going for her.
I wonder what phase of ""First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." we are at now?

We fot to the fight bit but it didn't go our way, sadly. So I think we're back at ignore, for now.
maybe so - battles and wars come to mind........but you wouldn't have thought that if you saw Salmond V Evans last night............I was almost embarrassed for him, almost. Esseesse said:
So with Mr Corbyn winning the Labour leader contest, will more ex-Labour supporters be flocking to UKIP?
Hard to say, but certainly possible now Lib Dems have imploded.https://yougov.co.uk/news/2015/09/20/conservatives...

All quiet in the media. MSM could not possibly admit that Farade was right, again!
Anyway....
UKIP Deputy Chairman Suzanne Evans on QT tonight.
Briefly caught Mr Nuttall on R4 this morning. On the introductory piece talking about UKIP, because Mr Farage says the referendum is now his focus, not numbers of MP's, apparently UKIP is 'scratching their head' confused as to what they should be doing. Anyway....

Bit awkward when your name is the "independence" party and the only way of getting that is through a referendum.alfie2244 said:

It isn't... and a referendum doesn't give you independence anyway, parliament can but they're not bound by the result.
really?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Referendums_in_the_U...
I currently do not hold out much hope of a leave vote, however there is an outside chance that it will happen. If it does I think there's a real risk of the UK 'leaving' but a significant amount of the bureaucracy surrounding the EU remaining and us continuing to largely tow the EU's line.
