Isn't Nuttall one of the main reasons people often call UKIP 'the acceptable face of the BNP'?
You shouldn't say that. He's an excellent candidate. Nutall said:
On moral issues, we, more than any other political party, are more in line with Catholic thought. Whether it’s on gender-choice abortion or same-sex marriage, we are absolutely 100 percent behind the Catholic Church.
They do know their audience, that's for sure. brenflys777 said:
I don't think he would fit in with the majority of UKIP voters, but clearly he has some support from some UKIP representatives and members. A similarly divisive and unpleasant character as Corbyn.
Isn't Nigel a fan? I got the impression he was. So, on the one hand you have Suzanne Evans who seems (relatively) normal, and on the other hand you have somebody who seems quite loathsome. Wonder who the party will choose?brenflys777 said:
He'd finish UKIP off as a mainstream popular party in my opinion. Here's one of his pleasant comments about Suzanne Evans from a few months ago.
It does make you wonder how somebody like that could even be in the running for UKIP leader but there are some within the party who would dismiss it as "just locker room talk" and "a bit of banter"Countdown said:

He seems to be quite up front about his emails and social media conversations.brenflys777 said:
Yes. Possibly because they're bigots who hear a Northern accent, see a shaved head and jump to unfounded conclusions.....
I think a family member is guilty of this. Have trotted out the "oh he's racist" line a few times and seemed to mean it, in a way they don't for Farage (just think he's abrasive). I've questioned why they say that and basically got nothing.dandarez said:

They love being outraged.I'm simply providing a service.
Earlier today, one of them was annoyed because an investor had made some money on stocks and shares.
These people get on my tits. They do absolutely nothing to further themselves, yet they feel entitled to whinge about people who have bettered themselves.
UKIP 'cannot verify' whether MEPs fought

Another MEP opened the door and Mr Woolfe came tumbling back into the meeting room.
"Whilst it is possible that Mr Woolfe could have been pushed through the door by Mr Hookem, there is no evidence to confirm this," the report says.

Another one bites the dust - he only launched his campaign officially a few days ago.
It's also a bit ironic that an editor of Breitbart can complain about the media treating him badly.

Diane was beaten by abuse from the public, Raheem's been beaten by abuse of the media. This is how to beat the opposition these days it seems. Raheem and Diane seem to be letting the abusers win, and, with such high profile success, encouraging others to do the same.
I really thought Raheem was thicker skinned than this.

Nutty Nuttall is there only hope now.
I agree, although I'm not sure Raheem was a good choice anyway. Strange that he bottled it so easily, and endorsed the guy he did.I see Carswell giving it another on Twitter following Raheems announcement. I'm split on Carswell, always normally appreciated his contributions if he appeared on TV, agree with him a lot but can't see why he feels the need to apparently stir things up the way he does. Seems counter productive.
