He's starting a new party so he doesn't care, he's like "I know you are but what am I" and Farage is like "Yeah, my face is like this because every time I fk your mum she smacks me in the face with an anvil", Carswell is like "See you later loosers, never was your friend anyway"

The new party will be call "Misanthropes United Command Kingdom" or MUCK for short.

They're gonna have a great time, it's going to be so good, I can't tell you how good it's going to be.
Meanwhile, Brexit's happening, Trump's in the White House, Geert and Marine are about to get elected. So all good.

I think it might be time for them to disband. They set out what they hoped to achieve
Keep going is a bit of a waste of time now. Mind you he could defect to the Lib Dems. Tim Fearon would be ecstatic it would boost his commons prescence by what 20 %

If he can do that why cannot all he Labour MPs who utterly disagree with Jeremy C do the same? When that was raised on newsnight before they stated it. Annoy work it must be a bye election otherwise you could for instance have GE+1 day and the MP who won for say Tory switches to monster racing Socialist democratic or Militant party.

So, they now have the same numbers of MPs as _________ party ?

I'd really hate them to disappear, Nutall was entertaining but gone quiet of late.

You cannot just do that as you have been voted in by constituants who want an MP who will vote online with UKIP - which would be at utter odds with Lib Dems

Has Nuttall gone into hiding?

I realise there will be no by election, but it would be fun to see Banks run against Carswell. I suspect he woupd get hardly any voters as he comes across as a really nasty c u next tuesday.

AFAIUI if you switch party you need one, not if you carry on as an indy.

He's doing the latter. In the past he did the former.

That is irrelevant. An MP (or Lord) leaving one political party to join another is called 'crossing the floor'. There is no obligation to hold a by-election.

I think you would find that the Lib ems wouldn't have wanted him anyway. They have err ptinciples don't they ?

I would think protocol is that a by election is held. Don't know for sure

An MP can indeed defect without a by election, many have done so.

So play out a theoretical situation GE it's a majority of 1 to the pink party.
Day 1 of the new parliament MP who was a punk decides to be a brown MP it's a two party only Govt you'd instantly have a change in govt

Could you just read back your posts before pressing submit? I tie my brain in knots trying to figure out what you are saying and I am not a stupid man.

Diolch yn fawr.

Looks like Carswell just doesn't hate foreigners enough for Farage and Banks.
