Going on form, yes
So you can point out where Farage has lied recently, 'form' would imply the lies have been told recently?

Your post infers you can give some examples, feel free to provide such.

I'm not overly bothered either way, but getting people to back up what they state is entertaining if nothing else.

Well thank you, given the context of the thread and the recent exchanges, I can see the importance of getting ones grammar correct.

It's clear that most wouldn't have been able to decipher what I had written, so thanks again for making what I had written easier for those without your academic excellence to understand.

I'd be grateful if you could follow my posts going forward to point out future errors, thank you.
You may want to suggest the same service to other posters, I'm sure they would be as delighted as I am, and will be.

Dozens over the years but you want recent ones. He recently said that Barack Obama had enacted extreme vetting on immigration during his presidency. He didn’t. Obama did review the vetting procedures applied to citizens of a single country (Iraq) and then only to refugees and applicants for Special Immigrant Visas, unlike Trump who has ordered a ban on people from seven countries with a population of more than 130million, including tourists and business travellers.

Farage also said Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain refused to take a single refugee or displaced person from Syria, when in fact there are actually 2-3million Syrians in the Gulf countries, many of whom arrived when the war began and are no therefore included in UNHCR statistics. The Saudi government has, since the conflict began in 2011, hosted 2.5million refugees and has given permanent residency to hundreds of thousands of Syrians.

He's a charlatan. He's built a career on fooling the easily led and even when he called them "low grade" they continue to swallow the crap.

I don't expect you to change your mind but you asked the question and I answered so I'll thank you to play the ball.

Thanks for the opinions of Seb Dance, I could of predicted the response before you made it.

Personally I'm really not bothered about Farage, if he's having a dalliance with a waitress so what?

How many other politicians have done the same (played away),Major,Blair (rumoured to have porked Deng),Ashdown,Johnson and many, many more,if Farage is being condemned for it, why not any of the others, because it's Farage!

Farage is a charlatan, what because he's lied? Led easily led people.
Again so what, as above, so have countless other politicians.
The same politicians are charlatans as well, there as guilty as Farage was of leading easily led people.

I guess everyone is 'low grade' by your reckoning.

Cameron came back from Brussels with 'significant reforms', clearly he was lying or at best deluded!
Cameron stated unequivocally that regardless of the result of the referendum he would continue as PM, he lied, within hours of the result he quit!

How many politicians got caught out in the expenses scandal? They lied, they were at worst guilty of defrauding the UK taxpayer.
Do you want a list of other politicians who lied? Sorry to disappoint, but frankly, I can't be arsed.

Crack on with the anti Farage rhetoric, I've never voted for the Guy's party, never paid any attention to what he said pre/post the referendum, but he's no better or any worse than a lot of Politicians that don't get anywhere near the amount of stick that Farage gets.
why? Farage was instrumental (the degree to which is arguable) in the UK voting to leave the EU.

For that reason, and that reason alone, I'm thankful to Farage.

Notwithstanding you may well be a certain Seb Dance NEP, I Hope this is considered playing the ball but may I ask if full copy / paste is allowed on here when not referencing where it comes from?

I'll butt in.

So, it was only Farage, all on his tod, who stated that about the Arab states did he? rolleyes

I seem to remember it being said and plastered all across the media: all of it!
There were masses of outlets saying it, even Amnesty International and the Brookings Institution claiming Saudi Arabia had taken zero refugees
FFS even a map produced to show who had taken fewest featured on IlmFeed of all places!

https://twitter.com/AL_Khatteeb/status/63967953966...

That big land mass Saudi Arabia with a f. ZERO placed right in the centre of it.

I wonder if Farage spotted it and thought, that's a reliable source?

Whatever suits your agenda.

As for a charlatan? Is he?
I couldn't care less and nor could many, many others. Politicians all trustworthy except Farage? Ha ha ha.
However, without him once thing is absolute, we would never have got the chance to get out of the corrupt club the EU.

I was wrong about what? The thread was comedy gold on 24th of June. It's still comedy gold.

Did you think that I was predicting that remain would win?
To me that was exactly its implication. In essence, that the efforts of Leave, especially of Farage & Kippers would fail.
What else could it be?

I just looked back there and spotted another of your blinders, Lynnsea.
One month before the referendum.

'Cameron is a politician and, in my opinion, says what he thinks people at the time want to hear. Or he could change opinion based on changed circumstances.
I do however think that he's bright enough not to commit political suicide. People, on these very pages, were writing him off before 2015 GE.

Spot on!rofl

Farage has lied frequently and the saudi issue is one example where he is doing it simply to fuel the fire to make people hate foreigners to support his own ambitions to be insular and create division. The more I see it seems all about foreigners. His wife and mistress are perhaps the 'right' sort of foreigners that he can tolerate.

One can only conclude that those choosing to defend him either harbour a similar nasty Banks type mindset or perhaps they are easily fooled "low graders" that he is exploiting.

The point about religion applies here, clearly.

Anyway, it matters not a jot. This thread is finished. But you can't leave it can you?

It's JOB DONE! Get over it!

You'll stress yourself out Slasher boy, it's not good for your health you know.
Relax. Chill.

We're leaving.

Forget Farage and go and pray Marine doesn't get a lot of votes this month or your beloved EU may end quicker than even us Brexiters wish.

Not much of a surprise really, although I was amused by the hard-of-thinking UKIP representative who was interviewed about Carswell's departure on PM; he accused him of not being libertarian enough for UKIP, a statement which makes no sense whatsoever given the party's tendency toward protectionism and the fact Carswell is an avowed libertarian(at least by UK standards).

This thread just keeps giving. People going through my old posts trying to find 'oh look you were wrong!' post, and embarrassingly failing.
The only people still desperately trying to defend HRF, are the low-brow, a bottom of the barrel oldies who should do better to go back to delivering leaflets, and if they can exercise some control over their own bladder, stop pissing into other people's gardens.

I do hope to hear more from Nuttall, especially on subjects like gay marriage and religion. Funny guy.

It leave them scratching their little heads wondering how exactly they were fooled into voting for them during the last general elections.
