Surely a wind up?

I see Nuttal was on BBC just now wanting to ban muslim stuff. Is this the new UKIP niche - picking on muslims?

I may have misheard but one justification seemed to be the EU might ban muslim headgear so we should do it too.

So far the only policy issue that seems to have come out it a Burkha ban.

Do people really let that decide who gets their vote? confused
They're also going to abolish postal voting and outlawing Sharia Law (whatever that means...)

Looks like they've just been reading the Britain First page.

Banning face veils seems perfectly sensible for me, they have no place in a modern and free society

No, but how many bank robberies have been carried out in crash helmets and how many in full face veils?

How many criminals from the Asian community have skipped overseas to the motherland undetected?

Unknown because of the laws that your liberalism ilk have conceived.

'Free society' being one that excludes the freedom to wear what you want? Right...

So now you only want to ban wearing full face veils in banks. Right...

i think the fault for that lies with the authorities . as for the thread title , ukip served a purpose, they are now an irrelevance imo.

Under current leadership Yes you are correct

It's an interesting quandary here in Scotland the only unifying force against nationalism are the torys so really no choice but to go with the flow to regain some control of our country from the flat earther.
Painful when looking at the UK in a whole as May is well on her way to selling the brexit majority out.

When motorcyclists are not riding a motorbike, they remove their helmet and show their face in public.
When asbestos removers are not removing asbestos, they remove their mask and show their face in public.
When scuba divers are not diving, they remove their mask and show their face in public.
When carpenters are not cutting particle board, they remove their mask and show their face in public.
When surgeons are not operating, they remove their mask and show their face in public.
When fighter pilots are not flying, they remove their mask and show their face in public.

All of the above are wearing apparatus that protects their health while performing a specific task.

Full face veils are not apparatus to protect your health.
They were made for one reason only: prevent your identity from being revealed to others.
And for that reason alone - they should be banned in public.

May be we should ban hoodies, hats and sunglasses as well - anything which might stop facial recognition from working.

Actually, why don't we go the whole hog and make pedestrians carry licence plates?

Is there anything specifically banning any of the above in public or do people choose to because it's more practical?

All faiths and none welcome - but you show your face in public.

How hard is that to understand?
