Depends on your circle of friends & colleagues.

Most of mine are teachers, work in education or work in the public sector. Therefore if I based what I predict will happen in May off a straw poll of their voting intentions then I would be predicting a Labour landslide.
Then most of your friends are part of the problem with this country. I couldn't bring myself to associate with any Labour voters - they are enemies of decent, hardworking and patriotic Brits.

He might have done, but we still wont be letting him into the country, he's a foreigner and we have no need of carpenters/joiners, sorry to say.

How can you say that with the massive housing boom that the main parties have just promised?

I actually think it is going to be hard for commentators to draw real, objective criticism from the manifesto. There are some very neat details in there - especially with regard to small government and the reduction of management overhead.

As for the colour of the people, well they're the cabinet, so what can they do? They're damned if they are all white, and damned if they appear to be positively discriminating to pander to the media.

Sorry but to me that's total intolerant nonsense.

If I was still Police or any public sector I couldn't vote conservative. If I was pro EU I couldn't vote UKIP. Not everyone who disagrees with me you or Farage is against decency, hard work or patriotism!

I maybe worded it too strongly but the point remains - the last Labour government acted COMPLETELY against the interests of this country. People who still vote for them are either the above or simply naive/stupid. In fairness most Labour voters are probably the latter.

Indeed. If you were in the Police why would you vote for a left leaning party unless you want to have your hands more and more tightly tied by PC nonsense? Under left leaning governments your job as a policeman will (and indeed has) creep away from serving the public to protecting the state.

Except that, from what I gather from friends within the force, whilst the PC nonsense is most certainly true, they have an even dimmer view of the Conservatives and what May has 'done' to the force.

(That the police is in need of some reform and help, not least more officers on the front line, is fairly clear and something the UKIP manifesto makes much of.)

Even after rowing back on your original commentyour message is no less unpleasant.

I'm a Labour voter. Always have been, probably always will be. If it makes you feel better to think of me as the enemy of what you presumably think of as "proper" British people i.e. the ones who think like you - then go right ahead. But then in return don't be surprised if I think of you and your ilk as bigots.

Why's that then? I know plenty of Police and the vast majority of them are right-wing in their political outlook and would more than likely vote Conservative. Are you suggesting that people will only vote for the party that will personally benefit them the most - eg; vote Labour if you work in the Public Sector?
