Jesus Christ I hope he's wrong. Paxman just ripped him a new one. I can really see him protecting the UK interest in a negotiation with Salmond
Salmond would rip him in half, and as for Putin! egor110 said:

Labour are a flawed party in so many ways it's easy.

How hard was that to say Ed? Would have left paxo looking like a right bully
Exactly. How hard was that to say Ed? Would have left paxo looking like a right bully
I'm no Labour fan, but appreciate that his brother was (and is I presume) articulate, calm, quick thinking, and natural, and someone I could see as PM.
Ed is none of those things to the point where his forced marches out from the lectern, clearly practiced with a trainer just don't seem 'right' when the question is "Why are you so grumpy?"
Hence the questions about his brother, which I feel are quite legitimate. I think if he was leader Labour would be looking at a majority today.

I can't believe Kevin Maquire of the Mirror honestly suggesting Ed did well tonight.
Astonishing.
Allegra Stratton on Newsnight claimed a week n for Miliband. I think she confused what she wanted with what actually happened.Astonishing.
Miliband was on edge and kept saying "right?"

I imagine Cameron was backstage, moonwalking and giving out high fives after that abject performance by Ed.
Christ on a stick, Labour fking up their leadership election and installing the wrong Miliband brother has made it much easier for the Tories. I don't think David Miliband would have crumbled like that. I could have even voted for a Labour party led by DM - I'm terrified that a Labour party led by EM will get into power. We're fked.
