Idle curiosity, I see the various results of Comres/Ipsos/YouGov and several other pollsters published on an almost daily basis.

I've never been contacted by one and can't recall anyone I know mentioning they have.

Has anyone here been part of a survey? How do they do it, on the street, by phone?

I was 'cold called' by one about 15 years ago, nothing before or since.

A few people on here have said they have been IIRC

I never have. But I'm not surprised - house out of the way, ex-directory, say no to anyone trying to conduct a survey in the street (which could be pollsters I guess)
