Cameron will say "Let me be clear" a lot, and in each case will proceede to spout some waffle that is patently unclear.

Might I add that it's a joke and undemocartic that the DUP and SDLP are not invited to participate when they are as big, if not bigger, than many of the other parties there.

Shall we have a bingo game running?

List 30 phrases (eg economy, muslims, ISIS, hard-working, boom and bust, NHS privatisation), pick any 7 and post your choice. First person to get all 7 wins.

biggrin

Someone with more time will have to come up with the 30 phrases to choose from.

Edit: oops, forgot phrases were mentioned. Who wants to play then?

Had a look round the various on-line bookies sites. This will put a tad more interest in the show for some tonight. So who's your favourite/worst performer and what will be the most frequently used "spin" word or quote. Place your bets .

Trooble at t'mill

Link says
"Welsh political parties have been arguing over who best represents Wales' interests, ahead of a televised leaders' election debate."

They should be dishing out the sherry before they go live and pretend its Fight Night Live.

TV debates reflect all that is wrong with today's media-obsessed politics. When you vote you should be choosing a party, and its philosophy, not the individual and how they look on telly. It's irrelevant.

Just decide what your own political philosophy is, and vote for the corresponding party; their policies will gravitate towards that position during the parliamentary term regardless of who is in charge.
In some way in a perfect world I might agree but if you run a business you look to its leader for ideas, inspiration and encouragement. They are also there to fight off the badies and look out for you.

Who writes the policies (where are these mysterious types, hidden in caves, who guides them if not a leader?), its like writing a business plan, in theory its a great start point, in the real world 6 months later things change and you need to adapt. Someone with strength needs to get stuff sorted, not faff around in rooms full of spineless yes men/women + [pc]LGBT's[/pc]

This is the biggest waste of time since Michael Howard didn't answer Paxo 12 times.

That's the problem with the first past the post system (FPTP)...

Plus, never a Steward's Enquiry or immediate disqualification for failing to keep a straight course on May 7th either.

The two phrases I was going to have a few quid on have both shortened. In one case halved since post one earlier. Someone has had a few quid on them ... so had a few small bets on several phrases and will listen for any ... well why not. Helps to pass the time.

Two rank outsiders are 10-1 "Are You Alright Ed" and 16-1 "There's no money left". I wonder if anyone has the balls to somehow dare include "Are you alright Ed" .... smile

Strangely, no odds offered for Rochdale or anything Rochdale related ....

Some of the responses on this and other N,P & E threads have been very amusing and also deadly accurate.

Keep it up folks.

"Are you alright Ed" still a tempting 10 to 1... No that's the odds not nearly time for lunch .. wink
