Completely off topic but that has just reminded me of a guy I met at Rye House kart track some years ago. Like me, he was a 'Cadet Dad'.

Between races we were having a chat to pass the time and he said he had been in Holland for three years. I asked, "what were you doing there?" He replied,

"Three years."
