No jobs supported in the outlying area then. Astonishing. Approx 11000 , apparently. Still they don't matter eh? Scottish Nazi Party knows best, eh?

SNP candidate George Kerevan advocates 'imploding' the UK economy in order to get independence.

Where did this jpg come from?

There's some shocking and offensive rhetoric there and I'd be amazed if this was approved or written by the SNP?
It was uploaded on twitter. Also being reported in the Scotsman now.

Scotsman said:
NATIONALISTS sent to Westminster would use their election as MPs to agitate for a second referendum, private SNP documents and speeches made by candidates show.
Scotsman said:
However the speeches and internal documents, meant for SNP members only, include remarks from eight candidates stating plans to use their platforms as MPs to force a second independence vote.
Scotsman said:
Mhairi Black, who is standing for the SNP against shadow foreign secretary Douglas Alexander in Paisley and Renfrewshire North, said that a large bloc of Nationalist MPs at Westminster could “twist the arm” of other parties at Westminster to force a second referendum.

She said: “If we send back that bloc of SNP MPs we will be the rope that that hung parliament hangs on. And that can be our strongest asset. That’s when we twist their arm and get that second referendum.”

In a statement that another referendum would take place “soon”, Paul Monaghan, the SNP’s candidate for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross, said he “will never accept anything less than independence”.

Nationalist candidate Owen Thompson, who hopes to become the MP for Midlothian, said of last year’s referendum result that: “It wasn’t a No vote. It was ‘not yet’.”

Another candidate, Patrick Grady in Glasgow North, also stated his plan to use Westminster as a platform for independence if he is elected as an MP.

In a candidate statement, he said: “I’m ready to hit the ground running, and make sure success in 2015 paves the way for success in the Scottish Parliament 2016, city council 2017, and on to independence.”

The SNP’s candidate in West Dunbartonshire, Martin Doherty, said: “By God I’ll fight for an independent sovereign parliament to give us the power.”

Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy warned that the findings showed big gains for the SNP on 7 May could lead to second referendum and called on Ms Sturgeon to “come clean” about her party’s intentions.

He said: “Nicola Sturgeon should stop trying to spin questions about a second independence referendum. Nothing can disguise the truth that the SNP would use election victories to propel Scotland towards a second referendum.”

Labour’s dossier also included a statement from the SNP’s East Lothian candidate George Kerevan, who said that as an MP he would push for full fiscal autonomy for Holyrood and that “independence will follow as the UK economy implodes”.
Scotsman said:
An SNP spokesman last night did not deny the candidates’ statements highlighted by Labour but accused the party of using “desperate” campaign tactics.

For every old labour worthy or hardleft socialist that has shifted to the SNP after September there's at least one disaffected liberal or tory(yes really; I've met a couple, and I didn't understand why either); the SNP isn't a big enough tent to hold all of these, something will have to give by the next party conference. In any case I think these people's voting priorities in 2016 will be completely different anyway; they may well swing back the way they came and the list system means far more votes count than with FPTP.

Ah Mhari Black, a lovely little 20 year old who will be so useful as a local MP to the thousands under her.

This isn't a moan about her being 20, this is a moan about her basically being the proverbial Donkey with a Rosette on it which happens to be yellow this time round.

I bet the local council will be dancing with glee having to deal with her on a regular basis.

Having seen her tweets and on tv, she appears to be what we call in Aberdeen a 'Toonser', or as my fiancee calls them in Liverpool a 'scally'

I actually look forward to her winning the seat and the following meltdown after the honymoon period with voters is over smile

Thats a good point actually, mabye may be using this election as a litmus test for the SNP, as the Holyrood election in 2016 would give them a year to see what they do then either go back to labour or Tory\Lib dem and have a more balanced Scottish Government.

Just a thought

Saw her on the news too. Her basic line for the reporter was "I know the problems these people are facing so I'll be a good. MP."

If I know someone has a stomach ulcer does that make me qualified to be a surgeon?

No. Just no.

We moan about MP's not having real life experience outside of being a member of parliament, but what does a 20yr old student know?

Its supposed to be a Labour safe seat for Douglas Alexander but I wonder if is one SNP expect to win?

How long before an SNP MP gets caught with their fingers in the cookie jar?

Or

Gets caught throwing their weight around?

I've half a mind to become an MP.

It seems the bar for entry is fairly low.

If you're in the SNP it is.

There is an apparently pre-pubescent boy standing up Aberdeen for Labour too in fairness hehe Barry Black IIRC.

Thinking about it - what does a Scottish MP actually DO? Many of their responsibilities will be filled by an MSP.

The document is genuine. When i first saw it i asked Kerevan via twitter if it was genuine. He replied,

"Yes. UK econ is in crisis because of Tory austerity. I'm suggesting Indy on cards if crisis worsens." #GE15

Yes, because setting up a new country\economy in a period of having no money is such a clever idea.

The idiocy astounds that the population of Scotland think that independence means prosperity, yes maybe in 50 years, but that means depression for the time being and i can see the disassociated Yes voters being the first to scream blue murder when the job ques start going round the block.
