Bugger frown - they must be wondering what the hell they've done to deserve all this.

Just heard back from OH's sister, wasn't too bad, there is not a lot left standing this time anyway, UN are 'officially' moving all staff to Bangkok shortly as they can't maintain anyone in Nepal and drain its resources when locals need them more.

Specialist earthquake team will be taking over.

Same 'response' to New Zealands USAR teams. No space at the airport.

To land and deploy a totally self sufficient group of world expert and experienced USAR people :/

So the actual video of the interview with the Nepalese PM, make believe? Filmed in the same studio as the moon landings perhaps?

Not at all. Feel free to make a coherent point at any time.

We've already made two and you didn't understand those, so why bother.

Are you using some kind of substance..?

How much will it be costing the UK Gov't to send out the Chinooks (+ support staff) and then return them to Blighty? Anyone hazard a figure?

Or does it get billed to the overseas aid budget?

Considering it's 'Gurkha land' out there this is one of the few times I agree with overseas aid.
