Are there any random independent or small-party candidates running in your constituency?

I just had a look at the list and we have this guy:

http://www.ianangell.org

What I love is how little there is to his politics, he is basically middle of the road rather than the traditional loony fringe that candidates like this inhabit.

And the grammar is appalling, he'd get ripped to shreds by the PH grammar Nazis!

We have Jen Battersby representing the "Cannabis is Safer than Alcohol" erm... party?

I would link to her webpage but she doesn't have one, she does however have a facebook profile if you really wish to hunt her down.

And here is her Twitter..... and her snapchat oddly enough.

He appears to be illiterate. Which is not a massive surprise to be honest.

We have a guy who wants to replace Queen Elizabeth with the Moai born King; apparently the most controversial candidate in the UK! Oh Brighton, never change!

Genuinely random" candidates plucked off the electoral roll might be a good start, as opposed to the power hungry pure-bred politicians that fill up most voting cars. Odd balls with no ideas and pre-pubescent Labourists are a really bad idea.

Not in my constituency but just a few miles away Captain Beany is standing again. I voted for him for MEP once.

Susan Anne White is standing for election as an Independent in the constituency of West Tyrone.

Her campaign will focus on moral issues including society's "dangerous" homosexual agenda. She would criminalise homosexuality and adultery. She also wants to outlaw rock music and blames feminism for the recent recession. The local Sinn Fein MP is sitting on a majority of 10,000 and Mrs White secured 67 votes in the last council election.

Doreen Scrimshaw (great name) is standing for the god botheres society (Christian people's popular front of Essex or something like that) and the GB's like nothing better than doing the unchristian thing. Her manifesto said "she is against marriage and its breakdown" which made me chuckle.
