OK, you got me. I'm Farage.

I've just on here deliberately annoying people with herring-like tendencies because people keep saying that will turn people into full blown Kippers.

Unfortunately, according to the polls, it hasn't worked

Did I forget to mention the complete lack of judgement in selecting a pilot to hire (crash caused by the banner getting tangled in the plane, pilot currently in prison for threatening to kill a CAA official)?
He's dead.

Have we had your prediction about the number of seats that UKIP will win tomorrow?

I think 12, what do you think?

Yes, a few times. About a month ago it was about 7 IIRC, and asked the following day what I predicted so I said again, and a few days ago I said 2. And then was asked on the following page what my prediction was. Still 2 +/1

And I'm so hoping that Farage is that -1: even though only 7% of Labour supporters have said they might vote Tory to keep Farage out, I'm hoping that will be enough

UKIP also want to charge foreign drivers using our roads. I think that is fair enough given how much in tolls that I have had to pay driving around Italy, France etc.

Chrsit! A UKIP policy I agree with!

Never thought I'd say that!
Another I agree with is the promise to remove parking charges from hospitals. When my father had Cancer neither he nor my mother could work because he needed constant care and taking for chemotherapy twice a week. My parents were dipping into savings and pension funds just to pay their mortgage and their bills and the car parking charges were a serious drain on their finances. That's probably even more important than removing speed cameras because charging people to park at hospitals shouldn't be necessary, especially when many have Parking Eye systems that cause problems and stress for people at difficult times, and people often have to make repeated and unavoidable visits to hospitals.

UKIP have also promised to reduce Fuel Duty. A party that can be on the motorist's side is a party that is appealing to a great many people, probably most of the voting public, so it makes sense despite the fact most parties don't seem to appreciate it.
I voted UKIP, but, I don't know if hospital policy has changed recently,
1. My wife is undergoing a 6 month course of Chemo. She gets a free parking pass from the Oncology ward.
2. My mate was in Intensive Care in St Georges Tooting. His wife got a free parking pass too.

I've got no problem personally with a nominal all day charge to park outside of situations like the above, similar to a railway station, a few quid. Perhaps with a first hour free. Otherwise the car parking will either fill up with non hospital visitors (especially in busy city locations like St Georges) OR waste hospital staff time in validating parking coupons.

You miss one very important detail... Are you charged differently to a local driver on those roads?

I think the main difference is that vehicle users are charged substantial amounts to run on many of these continental roads, whereas from the continent use our road free of charge except for isolated toll bridges / tool roads.
Perhaps a vehicle levy charged at point of entry should be placed on all foreign vehicles entering the UK, to balance things up a bit, could be used? That, or the countries that use toll roads waive charges for foreign vehicles, and only tax their own citizens to use the roads (like they do here)

It also turns out UKIP want all cars over 25 years old to not pay any VED, so clearly he supports us all running fleets of fantastic 80s cars:

This has been muttered about by various people for years, and finally here is hard policy! Not sure why this hasn't been on the PH front pages as I certainly missed it.
Two years and my BMW will qualify.
