Hope is Chuka, he is a racist tt and will be unelectable (he is a Tory in red)
Not sure I follow your logic as the Tories are no longer unelectable.

Len McCluskey thinks that Labour lost the election because they were not left wing enough. So it looks like the Unions will once again support the most left wing candidate in the upcoming leadership contest.

i gather the rules have been changed since 2010 and it is now OMOV, so the trade unions will continue to have influence but less power

An unknown female politician has just been announced on local radio news as a Labour leadership candidate.

Somebody is bound to know who the unknown is.
Liz Kendall. I hope she wins as it will be funny to watch Greg Davies as the first lady.

All my DJ/FB mates are raving on about him once being a DJ. That's enough to make me vote Labour. Who needs country running skills.

a small thing that should also be considered is that next Labour leader will not be facing David Cameron at the next election as DC has already said he is going to stand down and I guess that from around 2018 onwards there will be a power struggle within the Tory party. Whoever becomes Labour leader has got five years to become someone that voters can picture being a Prime Minister.

Listen, let me say this. We have not gone back on our manifesto. We have remixed it.

Being serious David Lammy strikes me as someone that would make a good leader. I know he's running for Mayor of London. What's the capital people's view on him?

Chuka reminds me of a mobile phone salesman or an estate agent, there is just something about him which is shifty and untrustworthy - a bit like Grant Shapps. I don't think he'll win the leadership contest.

And he's not very bright. He sounds intelligent, until you listen to what he's actually saying. There's a bolshie, belligerent manner about him that I don't like.

Although, to be fair, 'The shadow posse' has a ring to it.

I agree. Utter, utter, smarmy knob. Trying to be a Blair. What they really need is another London centric, ex lawyer, champagne socialist.

Still, for the BBC he does tick most of the above boxes. They will love him.
