Talking of women, they're not strong enough to lead Labour - according to a Labour man. Pesky feeble wimmins should simply remove themselves from the scene and leave it to the boys.

As this is Labour I doubt the BBC have been all over it on the main news bulletins, going on past form and also the result of an online search which lists (on the first page) various Sky, Guardian and Express&Star sources as well as the Mirror. Nothing BBC at the time of looking.

As Labour have demonstrated so many times in the past, they have no understanding of where the money comes from or why knowing that might be in the least bit important.
Labour think money comes from "Rich People". Will the new leader be in place before the next Election this is taking an age. Not sure Tony Blair did anything but direct people towards Corbyn.
Yes. better to tax the poor to subsidise the rich you stupid . Its the tory way.

Apparently there are now calls for the leadership election to be halted, over fears of it being
invaded by thousands of `left wing activists' who paid three pounds for a vote. Wonder who they were then?

Lol, sounds like the Telegraph readers have taken up the challenge to "help" the outcome. Could you really imagine this bunch of jokers running a country?

"May you get what you wish for"...........

Even the slightest chance that Corbyn and the Polit Bureau could get into power needs to be taken seriously, and dealt with severely. It would be the end of life as we know it for several generations.

I think the Labour Party (that does make me chuckle) would implode if Corbyn wins

I think that many in the Labour Party would prefer a principled opposition to a pragmatic Government. As the LibDems found out, in opposition you can oppose everything and criticise policies without ever having to deal with the reality of government.

It's a win win situation for the country, the Conservatives get to run the economy in a sensible way, and Labour get to organise marches and protests about cuts and austerity (and Thatcher), everybody's happy.

Poll in Daily Mirror places J Corbyn as clear first preference, with Y Cooper poor 2nd. Not good for A Burnham.

so the three modern day Political students of labour have a decision to make. They can fight as individuals
or two of them can move aside to give one of them a chance to beat Corbyn

Well, if you'd watched Burnham being interviewed on Newsnight last night, you might conclude that that's the position he ought to be in in this race.

That actually would be a very good result. It could help the Liberal Democrats greatly, both in members and voters. If we are going to have a left option in elections, then the LD's at least have their hearts in the right place, agree with them or not. They are not motivated by class hatred , envy, and vindictive spite like the Labour Party is.
