Believe me this girl is a special case. Basically the first Ned MP.
She's offensively common, frankly.
Hark at little lord Fauntleroy
Yep - It's pathetic.
Whilst it may come across as a little high minded, the fact still remains that she comes across as having the style , panache, and charisma of an unflushed toilet.

Imagine letting the beer goggles get the better of you and ending up with that thing , lordy lordy, the mind boggles!

Remind me to use that phrase in conversation sometime.

Ignoring the SNP aspect of this, it is quite funny that one the one hand most of PH scoffs that we need more normal MPs rather than "career politicians" and people from the "right kind of background" and so on.

Then when you get them, "gosh they eat chip sandwiches aren't they common, oh and a bit of a minger too".

You are not wrong, to be honest. Certainly irony comes into view in this case.

Eating chip butties isn't the issue. ( well for me anyway) writing like she does and what she writes is.

Understandable, but that's democracy for you.

If "that's democracy for you" is good enough when telling the lefties "you lost" then it has to be good enough when the people of wherever it is decide they want someone like that as their MP.

Regardless of her looks and different outlook on life what I find worrying is that her constituents think she's capable of representing them in Parliament at the age of 20.

I know but there is a TV comedy show in there somewhere. But are the UK rules such that it could happen if a certain bizarre set of events happened? Age limit first I suppose.
A certain Black Adder III episode?

Sometimes is not a good thing to receive what you fervently wish for.

This is absolutely terrific. An insane, Socialist Utopia being created on our very own doorstep. In five years, we may well be reading about how the SNP government are putting 'Unbelievers' to work, fortifying Hardian's Wall in order to stop the poor, benighted Scots escaping southwards.

Anyone for Gaelic boat-people?

Bring on Scottish Independence !

Sadly she will become a bit of a cult( I think I've spelt that right)figure in many circles and will go on to make lots of money and breed like a bloody rabbit.
See, this kind of pathetic, judgemental, snobbish attitude is exactly the reason she'll win a lot of fans. Why do you think she's going to breed like a rabbit? She's a 20 year-old Politics student, hardly your typical "young single mum" stereotype but I'm guessing because of her accent, you've decided exactly what kind of person she is already, fking pathetic.

I couldn't give a st about Westminster protocol, that BBC documentary recently was astonishing, the amount of stupid st they still do in the name of 'tradition' is pathetic and I'm glad we've got some MPs now who are refusing to adhere to it.

She is a career politician, she's left her politics degree to become an MP at the age of 20...

Be fair! with labours habit of stabbing people in the back (particularly those nearest the front) it is quite understandable that they would not want someone who does not fully conform to their twisted view of the world sitting directly behind them!

It's Paisley, most of them will be too drunk or junked up to care.
