Regardless of her looks and different outlook on life what I find worrying is that her constituents think she's capable of representing them in Parliament at the age of 20.
It's Paisley, most of them will be too drunk or junked up to care.I think this tweet was the one that landed her the SNP position.
The Haunting of the Tweets.
That is going to be a major factor in anybody seeking public office from now on. Dumb things tweeted as a 15 year old are going to be used against you when you are trying to portray yourself as a responsible adult.
I hope youngsters realise this. We've already seen a few examples of what happens when idiotic twitopshere outbusrsts from a while back are used against you.

Any reasonable person would appreciate that a 15 yr old tweeting "maths is ste" is no hindrance to taking a job of any importance, even as a Maths Professor or as Minister for Education. That is going to be a major factor in anybody seeking public office from now on. Sometimes is not a good thing to receive what you fervently wish for. This is absolutely terrific. An insane, Socialist Utopia being created on our very own doorstep. In five years, we may well be reading about how the SNP government are putting 'Unbelievers' to work, fortifying Hardian's Wall in order to stop the poor, benighted Scots escaping southwards.
Anyone for Gaelic boat-people?
Bring on Scottish Independence !
Where's me popcorn?
...Bobby Mugabe, look how well that turned out.

It's Paisley, most of them will be too drunk or junked up to care.Does this girl actually have any real life experience at all, or are her qualifications solely based on half a degree, and on hurling shocking cybernat abuse at people on twitter?
If it was up to me, all MPs would have had to have worked in the real world (it not a local gov/council job) for at least 10 years before being allowed to stand. Then they might have a fking clue how their policies usually work for the majority of people

It all looks fun and games at the moment for those travelling south and sticking two fingers up at the hated Westminster types, of which they are now the same.
I'm not totally sure how long this will last with the public in Scotland in a Tory dominated parliament and after a few years.
Got the feeling a lot of them will go the same way as Galloway as a flash in the pan type thing and then rejection when the realisation hits in that voting for anything with an SNP rosette wasn't such a great idea.

Very true - and because of that, rash comments and actions made when someone was young and immature will always be thrown back at that person when they seek public office. This has always been the case but with electronic social media, nothing gets completely forgotten so such "dirt digging" will produce embarrassing results far more frequently.

Sadly she will become a bit of a cult( I think I've spelt that right)figure in many circles and will go on to make lots of money and breed like a bloody rabbit.
See, this kind of pathetic, judgemental, snobbish attitude is exactly the reason she'll win a lot of fans. Why do you think she's going to breed like a rabbit? She's a 20 year-old Politics student, hardly your typical "young single mum" stereotype but I'm guessing because of her accent, you've decided exactly what kind of person she is already, fking pathetic.I couldn't give a st about Westminster protocol, that BBC documentary recently was astonishing, the amount of stupid st they still do in the name of 'tradition' is pathetic and I'm glad we've got some MPs now who are refusing to adhere to it.

This is the same girl who tweeted that all nuns should get tae fk as well as boasting about waking up with a tin of lager and a pizza beside her bed and more money than she went out with and not knowing how. The facts are she is a classless street muppet that loves to insight hatred as can be seen from her old firm posts. She will make history as one of the greatest MP fk ups of all time, I'd bet my mortgage on it.
You mean to tell me that a young person has done stupid things and has even got drunk?Never!
