See, this kind of pathetic, judgemental, snobbish attitude is exactly the reason she'll win a lot of fans. Why do you think she's going to breed like a rabbit? She's a 20 year-old Politics student, hardly your typical "young single mum" stereotype but I'm guessing because of her accent, you've decided exactly what kind of person she is already, fking pathetic.

I couldn't give a st about Westminster protocol, that BBC documentary recently was astonishing, the amount of stupid st they still do in the name of 'tradition' is pathetic and I'm glad we've got some MPs now who are refusing to adhere to it.
Let's judge the situation in twenty years time and see who's proved correct. Btw do you think it bolsters your argument by resorting to using strong language to get your point across? Also I've never heard her speak just to clear that part of your assessment up so who's being judgemental now?

Never!
George Osborne took drugs with a "call girl" - didn't really stop him did it?

Listen to the song "Off to Mairí's wedding".

In Gaelic, the combination of "M" and "H" gives you a "V" sound.

This is because there is no letter "V" in the Gaelic alphabet.

The name is usually spelled "Mairí" (without the "V" sound) - which is a pronounced "Mahree". It's a derivative of "Mary" - which can also be shown as "Maíre" (pronounced and sometimes spelled "Moyra" - especially in England).

In the entirely imaginary case of her fking up, I'd say 4 would be the best bet.

"At St John’s, Cambridge, 14 students were drunk “to incapacity” in a single year, with three dealt with by paramedics. One was found urinating on the wall outside while police were called at 4.15am when another abused ambulance staff after “vomiting copiously”. "

Absolute pussies.

Urinating on the wall outside. Ooooph.

I dont think it really matters what she tweeted in her teens; i was simply having a joke at SNP monetary policy.

All us folk from the rUK know that Scot's are a "better", "fairer" and more "progressive" race than us so im sure her presence in parliament can only be a positive force for "change".

I wonder if she'll go to prison, or support illegal wars, or help create a global financial crisis, or fiddle her expenses, or garner an enormous sense of entitlement?

Will she be taught how to bray in a more suitable accent?

Isn't that what they said about Pitt the toddler ? smile

I think that this young lady will become a poster girl for the SNP contribution to this parliament.

I think 35 years of age required for El Presedente in the US? What are her chances, in a bizarre turn of events and some unlikely accidents, to get to PM?
Well currently as a Catholic she couldn't become PM without constitutional change

I don't think there is a constitutional bar to a non-Anglican becoming Prime Minster, merely that the Prime Minister would then no longer be able to give advice to the Monarch on ecclesiastical matters.

Given Mhairi's views on nuns, perhaps that would be for the best.

Miliband publically stated that he was an atheist before the election, so he would have ticked the 'non-Anglican' box. Obviously, there will now be a series of severe ground-frosts in Hell before he ever makes it to PM, because it turns out God didn't believe in Ed Miliband either.
