Oh come off it man, are you seriously suggesting that the Scottish SNP Government will announce a levy on foreign nationals buying a house?
I would not put it past them if they could find a way to do it without appearing entirely Mugabe....

So lets not say not scottish enough lets call it a foreign investment property stabilization premium. An sell it as a way of keeping houses affordable for scottish people.
That would do it!

Don't forget they have already succeeded in contriving legislation to permit everyone in the EU except UK nationals born outside Scotland to receive free tuition in Scottish universities. It's having a disastrous effect on higher education funding mind*, but no matter - it is still sticking it to the English.

  • Not that Gary would care.

I wouldn't put anything past them.

This is the thin end of a Mugabe shaped wedge. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-pol...

Talking about laws to kick out non jocks sounds like hysterical clap trap to me. Whaddah they gonna do, make me put my house on the market and march me south because I'm a guffy?
Recent changes to land laws are similar to those passed by the germans in orer to take land and properties back from the Jews.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a law in the not to distant future that says to own land in Scotland you have to be Scottish or pay a hefty premium
But he's talking about applying it retroactively, how is that going to come about? Consider the damage to businesses ETC it would cause, even the SNP mob mentality isn't thick enough to try and get that in play.

John Swinney has just confirmed on record when challenged by a FOI request that the Indy ref was vastly overspent by £16million.

How many in poverty could that have helped???

Quite simply an addition tax for the privilage of doing business in Scotland.

The Germans did it and they were not thick either.

It bloody well is y'know. Take a look at how the SNP mishandled Longannet Power Station for a textbook example of cutting your nose off to spite your face. Oh, and you might not like Donald Trump much, but his drastic scaling back on land development in Aberdeenshire is another example.

The Fail reported otherwise, lest I'm out of date?

Great golf course by the way, although I'm amazed they let someone as terrible as me play.

He is a total arse though, lol.

Think it might be me that is out of date - apologies. Having said that though, the way the SNP spin and turn and backstab nothing is certain.

Oh I totally agree, the Yes campaign would never have agreed to it beforehand though, it'd have looked defeatist, where as their once in a generation rhetoric had the opposite affect.

Welcome to 21st Century Scotland, where Ethnic Nationalists like "Dr" Paul Monaghan become SNP MPs and represent Scotland.
We would normally recommend people complain to his party, but there is probably no point since nothing will be done anyway.
Scotland has become desensitised to such bigotry

Only one word for that - racist.

Sad to think some (but not all) Scots are voting for racists.

Seems it would be those who voted YES in an independent Scotland would be threatened by paramilitary violence if these remarks are anything to go by

People think they can say what they like online without recourse. The keyboard warrior or such like or those who simply want to post the most offensive thing possible to see reaction and enjoy the fall out.

Thing is it impacts people's careers or could do either getting a job or losing one.

But all that said its amazing that Scottish people vote for the SNP even with all of this baggage.... Speaks volumes.

Mr Monaghan must love his United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland passport which inside declares him to be British. I just hope he has to renew his driving licence soon, he'll probably spontaneously combust with rage, similar to these mongs.

It's all about their flag being superior, nationalists have to be superior, especially to the one they claim is the enemy.

LOL!

Can you also ask what the SNP plans to do about the Dark Star? Sounds menacing; are the SNP going to snuff it out?

You might get annoyed about the third reich comparisons - but just remember, Alex Salmond, the leader of the SNP whilst they LOST ghe referendum, called the capital of his own nation a Dark Star. Not in private, on friggin telly. Dis-fking-grace.

smile
I don't think London's the capital of Eck's nation, chief
