I agree with techno & haymarket, displeasure with the SNP and its attacks on england should not be reciprocated with attacks on scotland as a whole. The SNP do not speak for all Scotland. And Scotland voted to stay in the UK.
We never say anything against the english

We just hate the UK after the crimes of the empire

And if you want a stronger scotland then how can you vote for the unionists parties

If you vote for unionist parties then you must deny being scottish so you are nothing more then a britnat

So the SNP does speak for scots

The other lot just speak for northern britnats
"we"? who is "we"?

it could be fluff with the crimes of the empire nonsense, but there is less humour, just bile.

Not enough humour for a parody either I don't think.

Wings seems to suggest you can't like the UK and be a Scot - well a big majority said otherwise in the neverendum.
Did you miss his "No true Scotsman" fallacy? He's obviously a moron.

Given you feel this way about historic events how come you are ok with remaining in the EU? Germany Italy and those Vikings killing your familes and children.
This. Given they are unhappy with their perception of Scotland being a junior partner in the UK it beggars belief that they want to be an even more junior and more remote partner of the EU.

Like Scotland's going to get an equal say with Germany and France.

And as you point out if we're talking about historical events half of Europe had their own mini empires at one stage.

And it was Scotland trying, very badly, to create one, that resulted in the act of union in the first place.

I think I've figured out the issue with the Nats at last.

Thanks to wing nut for his help in giving me the insight.

They hate the UK, but as Scotland is clearly part of the UK, there was a vote and everything, they logically hate themselves.

Clearly this must give rise to deep seated insecurities, bile and insanity. Can we not lock them up for their own protection?

It's not a Scots Nat it's a Scots Nut.

It makes one doubt that the Scottish Enlightenment ever happened. 300 years later and this? Progress?

Enlightenment - civilisation, literacy, education, wisdom, culture, knowledge.

Antonyms of Enlightenment - ignorance, stupidity, confusion, destruction.

Dark days.

Strange how much the SNP want considering we were going to be an independent country in around a months time and would have had to stand on our own two feet.

Strange our new poster has, as is always the way with the nats, decided to ignore the question about how we are oppressed and instead decided to insult his fellow countrymen because they choose to have a different opinion to him.

I don't think current Scottish history lessons go past Thatcher tbh.

I don't think you understand just how massive a part Scotland played in the Empire building.

Maybe you could start to educate yourself properly instead of listening to SNP propaganda. http://www.historytoday.com/blog/2012/06/scotland-...

Sadly you are a fellow countryman to me and a very sad illustration of how far the education system has fallen.

We are here at Volume 7 and you could do yourself a great service by starting to read back, maybe not right to the start but a couple of Volumes, maybe then you will see that any point you can make has already been discussed, most in great detail, hell you may even start to see the light and realise just how wrong you are.

Your username for example is from a Englishman, some bloke from bath (who created the wings over Scotland crap) decided to use a local pest control company logo that used birds of prey to achieve its goals.

Wow what amazing debating powers you have, the SNP must be so proud. You still haven't managed to tell me why we or you, since you appear to think you live in a different country, are oppressed.

Can I ask did you think Braveheart was a documentary?

Is it not hard living with such hatred inside you every day? Can I just point out your flag doesn't make you any better or worse than anyone else in the world, however much you wave it in peoples faces.

Now that may or may not be the case but you know he is a bare faced lair with the non existent legal advice he had for the Indy Scotland no issue getting into the EU. Using public money to fight the case to cover up his utter lies.

Why he wasn't kicked out by decent SNP supporters is beyond me.

It could be a parody. It is quite over the top.

It is very revealing that what should be a fairly boring document about income tax is being held back as some super secret document.

The only real explanation would be that it reveals that Alex told the public some porkie pies about what it would mean - and the timing of this document would suggest he knew it at the time and hence if there is any disclosure, he will come out of it badly.

This is hardly a reason not to publish. Why is this still on-going after his resignation - is Nicola keeping the money for the case going, or is it on-going from his time as FM? How can he insist the Scot Info bloke keeps spunking money at this thing when he is not in power?
