But it's SNP austerity, so that's different innit?NoNeed said:
So will this be a replacement for council tax or in addition? It was said to be a replacement when the plans were first mentioned in 2007, however last year it was then said to be on top of council tax?Ahh no wait, of course we don't know - the two-faced lying hypocritical toad keeps spending taxpayer money trying to hide what will be the inevitable clusterfk.
I wonder how many people would genuinely consider moving South of the border once it kicks in?

Apparently a lower priority than fixing migration...

47% WTF so really the poll is saying 53% of thoes surveyed think Scotalnd would be better off from a fincial stand point if they were an independant country in March of this year...how....how....really how.
Am I missing somethingn here 53% think with oil in the low 30's and 20's (depends on the day / hour). A country 15bn in debt already. that they would be better off?
Wings_Over its well over to you to explain how they would be from a financial perspective be better off?

Oh don't you know? It's because they will have the levers to generate more growth and commerce rather than being oppressed. Am I missing somethingn here 53% think with oil in the low 30's and 20's (depends on the day / hour). A country 15bn in debt already. that they would be better off?

But the cost to change will be high, the current deficit is significant especially with oil generating £130m tax revenues not £6-7billion. Where it goes from here is interesting.
Leavers....hmmm the ones they have never used etc. To be fair more powers would allow hollyrood to do this but it does not mean they would be any better than current government.
I am hoping wings will try an explain but I suspect it will just be ignored or some pseudo racist comment about Tory snouts etc.

We just hate the UK after the crimes of the empire
Of course; it was all the UK, or maybe all Unionists. True Scots didn't have anything to do with it. Nobody can argue with such robust logic.Unless they have access to the internet. Or have read any history.

Ignoring the flawed logic and challenged grammar of your assertion, I suspect Alpacaman will be rather relieved by the sentiment contained within.HD Adam said:

I don't think that's the case - there would likely be "don't know", "don't care" and "unchanged" in there too.Am I missing somethingn here 53% think with oil in the low 30's and 20's (depends on the day / hour). A country 15bn in debt already. that they would be better off?

And if you think that Wiggles_over_Scotland is going to be the bastion of Nationalist sensibility I think you've misunderstood what's going on there
Simond, I doubt wings will have anything constructive to say at all I just happen to think if you reatedly get nat's to explain themselves sooner or later they will see the bullst of there own arguments.
Also why dont the telegraph just publish the paper ALex Salmond wants to hide from voters and then let people decide for themselves. What's the worst that can happen.

Wasn't Wiggles pure 'anti-nat' though? An does any one know why the telegraph wont just publish details of the document Alex Salmond is trying to repress in respect of local income tax

Many of them keep stating independence is inevitable, as if they keep saying it enough it will come true.

Is it not under injunction? In which publishing would lead to contempt of court...If it's a case of Wee Eck trying to get an injunction, then unless there's some sort of temporary 'hold' prior to judgement then I'd personally publish away.
