SobI've just skimmed over the last few pages and it's the age-old same:

- SNP are scum
- Only plebs vote SNP
- The hate the English, etc.
- They're not fit for purpose
- Etc., etc.

Don't judge everyone by the actions of a few.

I'm voting in half an hour - both Conservative.

Why?

I think they're the only party and the only leader to offer strong opposition at Holyrood. And I agree with many of their policies and proposals.

Although I've voted SNP before, I've been very disappointed by them recently.
An interesting Facebook chat I read the other night was saying something quite similar.

Group of people who previously voted SNP and had voted Yes, but were voicing concerns that a vote for the SNP is by proxy a vote for continuance of the neverendum and when combined with their poor record in delivering on commitments and certain highly questionable policies [NP mainly] they were going to be voting otherwise this time out.

My FB's got Labour die hards voting Tory. If Labour are going blue, and the wavering SNP are going blue Sturgeon better watch she doesn't ps off a few too many.

Wishful thinking but we can dream. Either way if Ruth does take second place it will increase her stock in the party. Get her in a safe seat Daan Sarf and see how she goes for the leader after next.

Hard to argue with that one to be fair, their record of government isn't that great.

I'm not voting, I pondered voting Tory but I can't be arsed - major case of voter apathy going on tbh.

I only dip in and out of these threads yet your name is familiar from them. Can't be arsed voting simply lumps you in with the Jeremy Kyle league who couldn't be arsed getting off the couch, I would reckon you care somewhat more than them.

Even a spoilt ballot says a lot more to the government than simply saying nothing.

There's a little 4x4 thing parked outside our polling station emblazoned in SNP paraphernalia.

Puerile I know but I'm sorely tempted to park my blue car in front of it and my blue F350 pickup behind it.

I'm really finding it hard to resist.

You have made enough comments on this thread which has a political theme, yet "can't be ar5ed" to vote.

You do realise this thread is not the real world, you actually get your chance to express a preference, yet decline the opportunity. No wonder it's so easily for sub standard politicians to get away with so much.
They have been getting away with it for years and will continue to do so if the turn out is 3,434,311 rather than 3,434,310.

I havent voted yet (at work) but will when i go home.

Lib dem for local and tory for overall party. I cant see the SNP not winning, however as its a PR system, it may mean they lose the overall majority (which the system was designed to prevent anyway) so we have a bit more balance, IF the Tories get 2nd party status, then they can take the SNP to task a LOT more than they have been of late.

However if people feel that the SNP win is a foregone conclusion then they may not vote, and we end up with a HUGE % vote for the SNP and referendum part 2 will be within 4 years frown

Please vote. It doesn't take long depending on what time you go.

Once again, I'm working the polls.
We have 2 papers.

Constituency has 4 choices.
Tory, labour, snp and lib dems.

Region has several choices.

RISE. Respect, independence, socialism and environmentalism. Scotland's left alliance.
Scottish Christian Party, proclaiming christs lordship. Christians together.
Tory. Ruth Davidson for a strong opposition.
Greens. A bolder parliament, a better Scotland.
Labour. Choose kids, not cuts.
Lib dems. ( they don't have a slogan ).
Snp. Nippy for first minister.
Solidarity. Scotland's socialist movement. Tommy(topia) Sheridan- indyref2.
Ukip. Ukip.
Plus an independent guy.

So far we have 30 out of 796 people turned up.

I wouldn't piss on any of them if they were on fire.

I think they will fall just short of the 50% mark, I'm calling 48%

Are the SNP not just 1 mp over the amount for a majority anyway, so its very close already, so hopefully some of the crap happening around scotland recently will make a few voters turn around for the tories of lib dems again.

Many friends i know who voted Yes are now not happy with the SNP now, mainly for neverendum talk.

I really can't see a way back for the Lib Dems at the moment, they are really on their arse. The chap in charge is a total knobber too.

The SNP administration have made a fair hash of the devolved education system to be honest, so it's not surprising to see such a thing occurring.

Do you mean Tim Farron (westminster Lib Dem) Or Willie Rennie, Scot lib dems?

AS i quite like Willie Rennie, he seems a bit more down to earth and isnt a fan of the SNP

I voted Yes and SNP before but its Tory this time.. Otherwise, why would I vote myself an income tax rise, more windfarms and the progression of the euro-inspired SNP nanny state.

Hopefully, labour will be gone and Tories will be the main opposition..
