Visited Edinburgh today and went on the royal yacht. (well worth a trip)

Whilst there I got talking to the guy in charge and it seems that the SNP are in the early stages of investigating making it seaworthy again and using it as a presidential yacht for Nicola and the SNP and paid for by the UK taxpayer!

Bit cheeky of them but how great would that be to see her being used again?

I'm visiting that at the end of August.

Now you've told me that I might take a drill and stick some holes in, below the water line.

Surely a wind-up though. I know she thinks she's 'it', but that would be taking the p*ss.

Sturgeon is trying desperately to spin this decision as anything other than the death-knell for this legislation. Hubris in the extreme. The arrogance of the woman and her followers knows no bounds.

The first thing that a totalitarian regime tries to do is to get to the children, to distance them from the subversive, varied influences of their families, and indoctrinate them in their rulers’ view of the world.
Damning IMO.

Sums the Scottish Nazi Party up quite nicely.

Lol. Suck it up Sturgeon.

New poll says Scots want to remain in the UK despite Brexit. Good on you, jocks!

And that's why we get endless hot air; 'could call for'; 'on the table'; 'against our will' etc etc.

Zero substance. She knows we'd fk her up again. As soon as the sweaty natives start to realise it it's over.

I really don't understand the constant push for a second referendum so soon. While a certain percentage on both sides will never change their mind there's a huge group of floating voters. Surely the SNP should be using the new powers they have to show us how well they can run the country etc etc. Instead we get the same old lines and arguments that blame Westminster for anything and everything.

Thats the problem though, they are not doing a good job of running the country, IMO, and taking the focus away from the claimed injustice of Brexit and continued threats of another referendum distract the voter from their failings in government.

Great phone in on LBC with Tom Swarbrick on the back of this poll

https://yougov.co.uk/news/2016/07/30/brexit-fails-...

Lots of Scots ringing in to rubbish SNP, Sturgeon, and independence.

There's a strain of thought amongst Scots independence that independence is independence and not independence only to join the EU, and they wanted to leave Europe more than the UK, in which case lets stay in the UK.

As I suspected the Scots are more like the rest of the U.K. than SNP and the cybernats would have us believe. beer

How long before a serious campaign to disband the stey wee talking shop starts up?

I'd happily donate.

Joking aside there is something seriously wrong with some people.

ETA. Just looking at the cut of a lot of the `marchers` on that video it says a lot about SNPs target demographic.

What a waste of a campaign....

The Electoral Commission has since deemed that all referenda regarding national status should be questioned 'leave' or 'remain'. 'YES Scotland' is legally meaningless (as is most of the SNP's attempted legislation).

Didn't know that. Will make next time more interesting, 'leave' is a much less positive message than 'yes' so it'll even it up a bit.

Either way I can't help thinking for most of the wasters there they'd be better off spending their Saturday on a training course, down the library or perusing the jobs pages. They've got more chance improving their lot doing any of them than pinning their hopes on Sturgeon's brave new world.

The same embarrassing carnival freaks that scared off soft swing voters in 2014; keep it up chaps! There's more chance of a second coming than the FM calling a referendum on poll ratings like that.

If they do a good job of running a prosperous and happy country, there's no need for independence. Catch 22.
