So a 7 hour taxi drive for £545 is better value and a more productive use of a MP's time than a 1 hour flight at £150? (Assuming one way)

Thankfully you're not in the corporate travel market!
Why are you talking about £150 flights when she's been taking £350 flights?

And that, my friends, is why the NO camp is going to lose eventually. You don't understand something or you disagree with it so, instead of seeking clarification or stating your case, you immediately try to shout it down while resorting to name calling and petty insults.

How about all Scotland's unionist MPS share a cab - between the three of them it isn't much of a difference and it gets them out of the way for a few extra hours.

I never commented on the sensibleness of taking a taxi. I did comment on changing numbers to suit a story - when we know the numbers already. Unless Edinburger was using his normal costs from his experience of flying frequently - and then the question is why is there such a difference between him and Miss Black? When it comes down to it then it is not a non-story if someone who came to power complaining MPs misusing their expenses is doing the same (whether it is actually called business class or another similar expensive ticket).

I am seeking clarification...

He's a proven liar, alleged (I'm sure proven but can't be fked to find it) criminal, and by any objective measure a right ugly fk. I repeat, who and why the jealousy?

So after declaring they're against Trident and Faslane, yet still want to be members of a nuclear equipped NATO, and constantly craving separation from Westminster but still being happy to be ruled from Brussels, the latest news from the land of the Scottish Hypocrisy Party is the first delivery of US shale gas to a country which has banned fracking.

First US shale gas arrives at Ineos plant in Scotland - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-37474396
What's your point, caller?

Let's not forget the Grangemouth plant supplies power to England too. It's US shale gas.
It's rank hypocrisy; they pander to the shouty rentamobs picketting the refinery with their bullst "we want more evidence and until then here's a fracking moratorium" despite every report including the one they commissioned saying it's safe, yet they bent over backwards to keep the place open when the union berks kicked off and helped to finance the shale gas storage facility to import the stuff from elsewhere.

I quoted that as a typical one way cost for comparison to the taxi fare. Flight costs EDI-LCY typically vary (on a return basis) from £200-£400.

Likewise - maybe we've even rubbed shoulders.
Say hi if you spot an 'older' slightly podgy baldy guy, always window seat on the right in the first few rows. It might be me smile
Ha - I will do! I tend to sit in rows 24/25 (as you're first off at LCY and usually get a free seat beside you!).

This obsession with 'unionist', 'seperatist' etc., all the while important constituency work goes to the wall while Mhairi Black treats the gay clubs of London like a sweety shop.

Scottish politics is in stasis thanks to fkwits like you.

What 'no' campaign? Still living in the past! IF there will be another secession referendum for Scotland, the question will be leave or remain because of Electoral Commission rules intended to avoid a negative connotation of a yes/no vote. Throw away your smelly YES t-shirt and bin the YES2 stickers, because they are legally meaningless.

There's no misuse or abuse to see here.

Politicians from north England will have high travel costs too. Domestic flight costs vary considerably and I really don't see any issue at all.

Why have costs gone up 10 times compared to the previous four years, since 56 SNP MPs were voted in? That is one hell of a rate of inflation.

There are none so blind as those that will not see.

Again, the costs haven't gone up 10x. The money spent on business class has.

Anything that's wrong with Scotland can be sorted by the Holyrood government, but they're busy fking up anything they can get their hands on.

Thank goodness for UK oversight and for footing the bills.

Total flight costs = broadly similar in recent years/lower in SNP's first year.

Fake Reverend Stu is a petty criminal and wannabe gangster who thinks he's an intellectual level above other gangsters. Proof that wealth alone is not something to be coveted. He is by all intents and purposes a st of a person.
