Considering several high-ranking party insiders were critical of Nicola Sturgeon openly backing Clinton in the last few days of the US Presidential campaign I think there will be some disquiet at SNP HQ this morning.

I think there'll be quite a few world leaders, diplomats and politicians asking their advisors and private secretaries this morning to quickly research what the fu*k they've said about DJT in the last 6 months.

It's back peddling time.

Apart from Putin. He'll have woken up this morning and thought 'the West has balls after all...'.

Salmond will not doubt appear on the news at some point today, making some sneering comment that he thinks is witty and intelligent.

I'm pretty certain he knows exactly who she is, and what she has said.

Not a chance that twisted bh will be so open minded.

Incidentally, as she's so keen for Scotland not to be dragged out the EU against its will would she extend the same logic to parts of Scotland that didn't vote to leave the UK?

It's a shame she doesn't practice what she preaches.

I think Putin was looking forward to pushing aside women that he sees as weak/inferior but this is a totally different ball game now. Putin and Trump need to meet early next year - Trumps style and strategy is going to be utterly different and it's possible this could ease the Cold War.

I think Trump may have a chance - he's so lacking in moral scruples that I think he'll be able to make the rather unsavoury deal that's required to sort the mess out.
