Channel 4 news did a fact check on the remain campaign, they looked at the claim we are £450 better off being part of the EU, the data used was based on a 15 year old reports on the effects on America when the allowed more free trade, the report produced by the EU is not fact due to it being 15 years old and based on a different continent.

I don't get it either. Even CMD admits the EU Commission is incredibly frustrating. It is something that takes power away from HIM, as well as lots of money in annual subs and fines when our economy does well.

Our place in NATO isn't affected by getting out, nor our seat at the UN.

All logical arguments are for getting the f*ck out, the remain camp have no credible answers - yet they persist.

Are you still keen to discuss these issues KrissKross & Don?
AJD, please tell me what you do for a living, no detail just a hint would be helpful.
Already mentioned it on here. Engineering PM, currently aerospace.

My motivation is what is best for the UK, and its GDP, as the economy affects me directly through provision of services, education, NHS etc. No vested interests other than those.

What did you like about the video that you were so keen for me to watch?

I must admit when Banks launched into immigration unprompted I assumed it was some sort of ironic wind up, given how strongly many here were protesting that the reasons for brexit had nothing to do with immigration. And before someone jumps at me again - I was specifically asked by a ph brexiter here to watch a video where brexiters discuss immigration. It is not me bringing up the subject unprompted.
I thought you might want to discuss the select committee video and the points outlined; you and Don seemed very insistent on how important it was to watch it earlier?

Because you are fickle, for example you focussed on how someone was "laughing", rather than the content of what he was saying. My teenage daughter does this. No doubt most people would be slightly nervous in that situation and might react in the same way, the stupidity of your arguments seem to make people here either laugh or cry.

Maybe the Oscar winning Nick Clegg is a better orator. Maybe you are Nick?

Substance is clearly not important to you.

You've gotta laugh. Between them, this prick, Tusk, Merkel, Shäuble, the ECHR and the ECJ seem determined to completely alienate 'normal' Europeans that just want a nice quiet life in their own country.

All while pushing a currency that's on its arse.

If they were managers at football clubs, the fans would have had them out long ago.

Roll on June.

Simple just look at all the people who say remain !!! ,just about all are or were 3rd rate or below average at best, they either have a gravy train position ( see Kinnock ) or are so lacking in ability to lead or make good decisions or deals ( john major CMD) they find the easy option is to let the EU run things and make laws while they posture and ponce about...

Possibly one of the advantage UK politicians (but no one else) get out of being in the EU, is that they can pick up their pay checks without having too much responsibility, as they are just another layer of bureaucracy the UK taxpayer has to stump up for out of their hard earned. If things are not what the people who put them in office wanted they only have to blame the EU, and they are off the hook with their pockets jingling. As posted before if the vote remain wins. parliament including the house of commons and Lords, should just be scrapped. Why would we need to pay for a bunch of useless, powerless politicians, on top of the unelected bureaucracy in Brussels? The houses of Parliament could then become a museum of UK politics, or even a conference centre, with just a small office in there somewhere, where civil servants could disseminate the latest diktats received from Brussells central throughout the UK?
With the latest EU announcement regarding migrants for up to 250.000 pound fines (per migrant)to be levied, the sooner we are out the better.

What is this? I'm assuming it's a spoof account given that they appear to have voted to leave.

Anyone following the referendum betting markets?

Remain is still a strong favourite at 4/9 (which means an implied probability of 69%) vs 11/5 for leave however the odds have moved a little in the favour of leave in recent weeks.

Any country not accepting Islamic over population/overspill will now be fined.
Who voted for this?

EU commits suicide, by fining members for their democratic choice.
Ah well it was nice while it lasted and i was a beneficiary culturally, financially and spiritually.
Afghans have 8 children per family = endless civil war = endless refugees = endless Islamic immigration to Europe = high birth rates in Europe = .......
Brexit, more like Allexit, is inevitable.

Think I heard that the roaming charges thing was passed down from higher international agreements via the EU. So even that may not be a reason to vote to remain.

Did I hear mention of us accepting extra refugees on the radio? Was that noises from the government pre-empting this?
