You two at it again?? rolleyes

When are you both tying the knot? You're like a married couple; you'll be throwing pots and pans at each other next... hehe
He messes with my head. One minute he loves me and wants to be inside me, the next he doesn't want to know and is spending time with Poledriver. He's nothing but the town bike. But can't help my feelings.

Agree, enough or you'll both need another thread to post on.

Whoever designed that junction is to blame. fking CLOWNCIL. The cyclist is 100pc innocent and deserves compo. And whoever posted the video should be arrested for inciting racial hatred.

No way did his brake fail, you can see him still peddling, unless it's a fixie.

And even if they did fail, would you not, turn, put your feet down, jump off, rather than hit a bus?

If it's a fixie then he's a hipster tt and deserves to die. Horribly. Falling on his MacBook and decapitating himself or something.

Then his hipster tt friends can get his name tattoo'd around the anchors and swallows they've already had done on their forearms and hands, and hold open-mike accordion nights at the local micro-brewery-cum-boutique-coffee-shop where then can raise money for, oh I dunno, the socialist cyclist's beard growing charity or something. They can even make pin-badges for it.

tts.

And if his brake line really snapped, I'm a chinaman.

And now for the bus drivers view in which he confirms the snapped cable and the back brake is one of those where you pedal backwards.

But he's still pedalling away as he approached (not stopping or trying to stop for the red) and went on pedalling through the red light. He only stops pedalling after he has gone well through and when he sees the bus is in front of him.

But, you see, I have been told by those who know, that most already pay road tax, have passed some sort of test, and some even have sort of insurance, only thing missing is the MOT for the concerned vehicle biggrin
The road tax (well, VED) thing is a daft argument if you were to go down that road as last time I checked you have to pay per vehicle so even if they have 100 cars and a bicycle, if someone is peddling (boom boom!) that argument then they need to pay for 101 VEDs.

Test? I doubt most cyclists have done their cycling proficiency test. It's really just something to give people more confidence. Just like most peds probably haven't been a Tufty Club member.

As for insurance, presumably, it's first party, fire and theft.

and the guy is still a of the highest order... you look at the stills in your link (pic 5) and Chris Hoy couldn't have reached those lights before they turned red. Fact of the matter is he was going to jump the lights regardless

edited to add pic - it's on amber already and he's still peddling away
