Oh yes I agree 100000000000% that there are idiots involved in all forms of transport. Cyclists do not have a monopoly on that resource! hehe

However, when the idiot concerned is a cyclist it is often accompanied by bizarre beliefs that the highway code really does NOT apply to them, and that all other road users really SHOULD defer to them and that the manifold faults of other road using groups in some way mitigates the faults of cyclists......

One would have thought that a group of road users that is so self aware of its own vulnerability to the misdeeds of others would not be so hypocritical or aggressive in pursuit of it's pursuit of ignoring the rules designed to keep them safe....

I think most of us are singing from the same hymn sheet here. In fact as law abiding cyclists we have more reason to dislike the idiots as we often get tarred with the same brush
