I'll calling BS on this now, it's all getting out of hand and too unbelievable.

Apparently the latest is that Blatter had an affair with Ronaldo's ex, Irina Shayk (google her).
just when I think I can't hate the man any more - has to be BS surely, unless she was part of the Russian bung with a bunch of blue pills
'Carlsberg don't do Football corruption, but if they did.......

Why bs? Look at Jean Todt, Bernie E, etc for older figures that attract much younger and prettier partners.

Power attracts, 'twas ever thus.

Nah. She more than anyone knows that powerful and rich men don't have to be old, fat and morally bankrupt. She could have her pick of football players, 30-something hedge fundies, etc

Sven-Göran Eriksson?

He's doing the thumbs up sign too.

Perhaps I've not been doing the thumbs up sign enough?

What did they do with the £5 million?
Re-developed Landsdowne Road
Surely that was funded by the IRFU (and the stadium sponsors)?

Would they have stumped up all the costs for a shared stadium?

Let's put it this way, I don't think he's going to be in power as long as he thinks he is.

There's no way he can stay at his desk right up to the next vote.

I think his plan is to stay in position until the vote, that's 9 months I believe, and then put himself forward again. He can then state he has a mandate.

A lot can happen in that time.

I don't think it will follow that, but if I was corrupt then I would want time in my office to clean up. Shredding is a great form of self protection, as we have seen in many a court case which failed due to the jury not thinking mass deletion of emails is evidence of anything other than wanting to keep tidy.

Yes, seems there is a chance to get stuff sorted, why are the authorise not seizing stuff in the light of recent events? I do not know what is happening behind the scenes but it would seem that an awful lot of leeway has been given to him.

i would imagine every single bit of electronic correspondence beween officials from the last several years will already have been retrieved by the americans . if there is dirt there ,they will already have it.

Blatter doesn't use email nor texts for business it seems. Everything is on paper or speech.
