FIFA corruption arrests

Yes, seems there is a chance to get stuff sorted, why are the authorise not seizing stuff in the light of recent events? I do not know what is happening behind the scenes but it would seem that an awful lot of leeway has been given to him.
The Americans will have built a case before arresting. I would assume they have insiders other than the fat bloke. So one would hope they have sufficient information. The assumption would seem to be, at least from most commentators, that the idea is to pressure a number of those lower down in the hope that they will spill the beans on the one at the top.On a slightly different tack to the corruption part in itself,
is there a tipping point where the existence of FIFA itself becomes untenable? If corruption really is from right at the top down, then how can anyone have any trust that the organisation itself will ever again be 'clean'?

I think all of the "minions" are clean.is there a tipping point where the existence of FIFA itself becomes untenable? If corruption really is from right at the top down, then how can anyone have any trust that the organisation itself will ever again be 'clean'?
It is the Grand Poobah's are as corrupt as heck.
Remember - it is the minions that keep leaking all of the dirty dealings to journalists.
One of my mates interviewed Blatter last year, he said throughout the interview he was only interested in staring at his young attractive Serbian interpreter the whole time, apparently he does have a strong reputation as a ladies man (along with a significant former premier league manager - which I was rather surprised by)

i would imagine every single bit of electronic correspondence beween officials from the last several years will already have been retrieved by the americans . if there is dirt there ,they will already have it.
Blatter doesn't use email nor texts for business it seems. Everything is on paper or speech.Looks like FIFA forgot to throw some more money to the US Box office;

After a £17m investment from FIFA, the film only made £397 this weekend.

The next Fifa film will be much better. Just listened to the most recent Bugle podcast (the best/worse of FIFA) and you forget how long this sort of stuff has been going on.
For example I'd conpletely forgetten about the Jabulani ball you couldn't kick straight. Or the Manaus stadium thats currently being used as a bus depot.
