My take, FWIW, is that only when we 'all' start to treat one another equally will prejudice and hatred give way to co-operation, empathy and humanity.
Equally means condemning anyone who stands for outright hatred and violence against anyone other group. I think it's fairly clear that what she's done is wrong and stupid and only an organisation as well versed in the intricacies of it's own ahole as the NUS could have supported her act.

White men aren't supposedly a previously persecuted or disadvantaged minority group, therefore no comment can be pejorative, they can be legitimately (and legally to all intents and purposes in most cases), ridiculed, belittled, threatened, excluded, discriminated against, etc. etc.
That's how PC 'equality' works - you make white men THE most persecuted/disadvantaged group to advance everyone else.
That's why white boys are being failed from the exam systems in schools, all the way up to selection for top jobs (the last census showed that white British are now outnumbered in top jobs by 'minorities').

Some of the anti-male rhetoric and policies on campuses worry me a bit. In the USA it's particularly bad, with people cleared by the police of sexual assault being tried by university courts and expelled and all men having to undertake mandatory 'Don't Rape!' classes before being allowed to enrol. I hope University politics isn't a glimpse into the future.
