I think the Lib Dems have something worthwhile to offer this country and the leader's first responsibility is to ensure the party survives to deliver that message. Nick Clegg sold out the party's principles for a vote on PR and was hoodwinked, and then destroyed what was left by completely failing to communicate the moderation achieved during the last term. It's been a terrible year for the Lib Dems; good riddance to Clegg and I hope they recover.
The Lib Dems did some good:

Depends how quickly you want to die... my mother drank a half bottle of spirits and 4 cans of tennants super every night (except sundays smile) for about 10 years. She was up to a whole bottle for the last few years. Died at 52 years old.

Thank you, I'll take a look on iplayer.

Seems Twitter is trending a Daily Mail piece on how Kennedy was abused online and in the street.
I've read that too. Some of the abuse he recieved from the SNP was terrible.

Twitter eh?....making cowards brave for years......

I see a man who tried to do good things for people and was honest in his endeavours. Cant say the same about most of the people in westminster.
I never agreed with his politics but I admired his honesty and his integrity

clap

A fitting epitaph for a genuine person.

If only this could be attributed to the shower of current Westminster timeservers we as a country would be in a far better situation.

As far as the SNP morons abusing him, I wouldn't expect anything else from them.
maybe that was his problem he cared too much about people and not about his "career". this shower we have now have one thing in common its all about them

22 minutes in, someone resigned from the SNP over their treatment of Charles Kennedy:
