There are some passionate people and there are people hoping to get a rise out of someone. Perhaps the latter were at work here and he does seem one to bait easily, I suspect that fellow having a chat with him suggested that he removed himself before he did something embarrassing. Which is a pity.
As deluded as he is (if he cant see the irony of a VIP tent as an anti-austerity march), I don't think one anonymous ranting lefty is going to upset his day too much.
Adding some footage at the end to imply he is running from a baying crowd (when he probably just remembered he left the iron on) is pretty cheap.
