Hello mate - were you at the F1? Did you enjoy it? We did Austin this year which was awesome.
The issue with education is that the particular society needs to want that change through education. It's not the 'normal people' that you have to worry about, but instead the extremists - they spoil it for everyone.

I arrived in Dubai late Friday evening and worked Saturday and Sunday building/managing and now on my way back home to go into London at 9pm tonight for another before getting home at 1am to get up at 5am to start again - you know my life......non stop fun fun fun!
Whilst you won’t remove all members of society who are determined to have their own way, surely given time education will help?
You are right, of course - with enough education then a good chunk of the issues should be resolved. The issue as far as I see it (and I will be the first to admit I don't know everything) is that if those in control of the education don't want those changes, they won't happen. The best analogy I can think of is if those who set the syllabus don't want The Pythagorean Theorem being taught, then kids won't know how to calculate the length of the hypotenuse of a right angle triangle using the two other sides.
Enjoy the flight - I hope you're turning left
Apparently this latest massacre was all a Zionist plot (as usual):

An interesting piece from the NY Times on Egypt and Israel’s joint fight against jihadists in Sinai.
