I couldn't agree more.
I am more lax on this and happier to accept the realities of life. Nearest whole pound will do.

Interesting article from the Spectator back in February this year..

Batstmental how this woman has won awards for Businesswomen of the year and Entrepreneur and a CBE too.

Amazing how far these talentless gobstes can get through positive discrimination and dressing like a fruit basket.

200 grand ON FOOD

Good Lord, whilst it's certainly not beyond the realms of the possible that the betechnicolourdreamcoated Batman lady is partial to the occasional pie or two over the odds, I can't help but feel that's rather pushing it.

The old biddy's major complaint seems to be that she didn't receive a letter of thanks.
What a disingenuous comment.
The 'old biddy' asked for some idea of where Kids Company had spent the proceeds of her house sale - £200k
She noted that there were few children in the centres, which was backed up by investigation that found that the numbers of children the charity claimed to help included their carers, parents and teachers.
It prompts questions which Camila Batmanghelidjh either avoids or insults the questioner, going so far to question the 'biddys' menatal health (while of course keeping the money, odd for a charity that claims to be on the side of the mentally ill).

All the while, they're receiving public funding.

If the accounts made sense and the claims were true, I seriously doubt the government would pull the funding, but as usual Batmanghelidjh makes it all about her, claiming a personal vendetta by David Cameron - this is typical of the woman whose vanity project was more vanity than project it seems.

In the old days they used to put the nutters in institutions in order to keep them out of the way of proper people. The same goes for the difficult kids nowadays it seems. I had no idea of the mechanics of the situation until my lad started to explain things to me. Really quite shocking.
Now it seems, the nutters are running the institutions.

The Government is concerned about how the charity is managed, especially as it receives public funds. This in turn raises a question as to whether the Government should leave charity regulation to the Charity Commission. The latter point is my comment, not a paraphrase of the news report.
Good point about the Charity Commission. I'm not sure exactly what they are for as all they seem to concentrate on is ensuring charities submit forms and accounts - with no actual proper monitoring.
Not fit for purpose, according to MPs - http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/feb/05/mps...

It's just another con trick fronted by a publicity seeking ahole!!! Bit like that Bagwash bloke in the '80's who was given rolls royces by his stupid followers!!!! not for him the 1.6 Allegro!!!!

The charity was one of Cameron's 'big society' initiatives...

She would appear to have dedicated her life, at least since 1996, to the welfare of troubled children....
Which is it then?

Harriet harman. Was interviewed on R4 today.

Interview sounded like this to me.

Q,If receiving public funds shouldn't their accounts be in order.

HH, emotion, emotion, needy children, dedication.

Q, yes but there are serious questions regarding how the charity acted.

HH emotion, emotion, needy kids, dedication , Cameron promised, beaten children bad parents, emotion, emotion.

She neve once answered one fking question just banged in about needy children.

or alternatively you could spend a few minutes checking out the charity's credentials before donating. Just assuming that they are all bent is pretty feeble.

I don't/didn't really like Paxman much at all but I do wish that journos would actually pull people like this up a lot more often than they do. Perhaps they might even start not trying to answer any question.
