Unite and GMB join forces to back Jeremy Corbyn 'to teach party a lesson'

Whilst not entirely unexpected, it warms my cold Tory heart to see the GMB and Unite about to throw their weight behind Comrade Corbyn.

I'm seriously thinking of signing up as a Labour member - the Windsor Conservative Association may need to do without my membership until the deed is done - to try and get him elected as leader.

Does anyone have a link to the £3 a vote offer?

I hope he does for two reasons.

Obviously it will make Labour unelectable, but it will also mean there's the prospect of an actual ideological difference between the main two parties. It will still be degrees of wrong but if it breaks the cozy consensus and produces some actual debate then it's a good thing. And who knows it might even bring out some conservative elements that remain in the blue party.
