The SNP - the party of the confused....
Discussion
2015 - SNP only party to reject Syrian air strikes.
2013 - SNP only party to back military action against Syria.
What a fking joke! The party of the contrary, the party with no principles!
Will someone please just take them away somewhere....!

2013, syria was suspected of using chemical weapons against it's own people, the SNP supported action if the use of chemical weapons had been proved by weapons inspectors.
2015, terrorists targeting the UK, i suspect would be targeted in any country, usually with the countries help.
two entirely different scenarios.
what are the risks of syria seeing it as an act of war?
how is it much different to drone strikes in Pakistan against Taliban?

No chance at all. Reading around the issue (and between the lines) the current coalition, while not allied to Assad, is telling them when they're going to be in-theatre. Nobody has been shot at by Syrian government forces yet.2015, terrorists targeting the UK, i suspect would be targeted in any country, usually with the countries help.

Longer term, the west seems to be de-facto aligning itself with Shia Islam. Iran is thawing, and nuclear ambitions aside they really are better people to do business with than Saudi Arabia. Whether that's the right decision or not remains to be seen since Shia is a minority, but their rulers do seem to be a bit less shooty.
If Iran come onside, we'll be able to come to an arrangement with Assad where he'll align with the rebels against Daesh, allow free elections after the war, and be given asylum in Iran to go back to dentistry. Yes, he's done some terrible war crimes, but it's never stopped us doing business with murderers before:

Scottish Government too.....It would be interesting to see the MI5/CIA files on the current SNP. You can be sure they are considered a very large security risk - through sheer incompetence / contrary behaviour as much as any "Arthur Donaldson" type malice. :E
Dont worry though their much more serious about the real needs of the Scottish people now....

And yes she did raise this in Holyrood.
