First off, if this is true then it is terrible . . .

But for some reason, this just isn't ringing true with me:
It is difficult to believe. There just has to be more.

There's a Starbucks in a shopping centre where I take Mrs DS. There is a corner that nursing mothers use just after taking their kids to school. There are no signs. The first time I went there I noticed that whilst the floor of the place was packed, there was the small area with just two women in it and three or four empty tables.

I'm not one for atmospheres. I just opened the laptop and started to work. After a while I eventually realised. Not the most comfortable time I've had packing my gear away, so to speak.
Why should you feel awkward and feel you should have to leave? Neither party is doing anything wrong
Perhaps it is my age.

No other male was in the little enclave and some old fat bloke sitting there might not make the mother/child bonding process go well.

Maybe I imagined the atmosphere. I don't mind mothers breastfeeding. It seems more or less natural to me.

Baby changing room is usually combined with the disabled toilet. It's not exactly a nice, comfortable or overly hygienic place to feed your child. And apart from the bog seat there's nowhere to sit. I don't think a mother should have to go and sit on a crapper to feed her child.
TBF I did suggest changing rooms first. I guess I just miss the point completely about why anyone would want to breastfeed with an audience. Wouldn't take more than a minute or two to find somewhere a bit more private, would it.

Using the word "audience" 100% confirms that you have indeed missed the point.

Probably shouldn't laugh, but...

"Starmer told the MailOnline the security guard's alleged actions also upset her baby Paige, causing her to bite down on her nipple."

"She said: “The pain was excruciating, because she was pulled off my breast against her will, she instantly clamped down with her two bottom teeth causing a lot of pain to me."
Are they changing the shop name to Bitemark?

Have you ever dared to look in the direction of a breast feeding woman, if you have you'd realise that all you'll see if the back of the babies head. Women wear special nursing bras and tops that are easy to lift, they aren't taking there tops off and getting there tits out for goodness sake. Why is it so upsetting to some people?

Looks like she's pulled her profile, or heavily locked it down. Stupid bunt.

So it is all a load of crap? Well I think Primark should sue her, this will be all over Facebook by tomorrow with the 'yea right on' brigade demanding action, so it may damage their image. Sue the crap out of her for compo. It might send a message to others.
"Ms" with 4 children good luck with that.

Deleted her profile it seems, but a local Leicester new site has helpfully quoted both events - http://leicestermarket.com/primark-breastfeeding-s...

And that in some way makes it OK to make up crap and damage trade? Some how makes her above the law? WOW, a strange world we live in.

Seems Primark is going upmarket if these kinds of attention seekers are now flaunting themselves and demanding their rights in Primark stores ?

No way did that happen, there is no way a mother could chase after a security guard, screaming as she claims, in a busy store, and there apparently be NO witnesses.

If it had happened there would be phone footage all over other people's facebooks and twitters and vines within minutes.

Hopefully Primark will stand up and maybe not go as far as sue the crap out of her for reputational damage, but certainly make her issue an apology and state the truth.

I'm a good few years younger at 39 and have to say that I have no problem with a lady breast feeding (even had one do it in a client appointment) in public so long as they have no problem with it and the fact that they are going to get a few double takes.

IMO you sitting there have no impact, or certainly no negative impact, on the mother child bonding process. If the mother felt you did then they would not be breast feeding in a public place where it would be perfectly acceptable for you to put yourself on the next table.

Mothers don't start demanding private feeding rooms, the rest of us just let them quietly get on with it and try not to look, at least once you have realised she really is feeding, not just holding, the baby!

On the bright said of all of this is that a feeding baby is usually a quiet one, everyone's a winner!

Sadly it is.

Here we have Primark, a big boy in the playground, who I really would hope would be saying "You know what guys, we're not going to see a penny back but let's put £25k on one side and sue this bint for all she is worth. If we get anything we'll put it into a trust for her children - if she ever pays."

They can afford to do that if they chose to run with it, although they will be likely pilloried for 'hounding single mum of 4'

Now think about a small coffee or electronics shop - imagine the local damage that this sort of thing could do to them and that they really don't have a few £k to throw away...

Sorry but this woman is only a few steps up the ladder form the false rape claimers.

And there lays the issue for me. People wax lyrical about why we have a 'broken' society. I do not believe that there is any one answer but i do feel that a major part of it is a lack of 'consequence of action' in this nanny state.

Hammer the bint! Unless it is proven that she is a nut job and not accountable for her actions, in which case how has she got custody of 4 sprogs, then hammer her in court!
