Sing this dowm the phone, you'll be in.

The people's flag is deepest red,
It shrouded oft our martyred dead
And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold,
Their hearts' blood dyed its every fold.
So raise the scarlet standard high,
Beneath its shade we'll live and die,
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer,
We'll keep the red flag flying here

should be more room on the front opposition bench and I guess with Abbott there they will need it.
But needs a few at the opposite end surely?

OK, so apparently his cabinet are meeting at the Bolshevik Arms tonight, they've got a room out the back that seats 6. There is some food laid on but I got told to get there early before Diane arrives. wink

In all seriousness, the torries must be watching TV p*****g themselves laughing. Now should be the time Labour are taking the fight too them.

Labour needs to be split one a socialist party for Corbyn another for other Labour voters.

You're not far wrong. You need a party for:

1. Old Labour voters in the provinces. Like a sort of left-wing UKIP.

2. Public sector workers and the Chattering Classes. Like a sort of vaguely sensible Green Party.

And maybe:

3. a party for the crusties/rent-a-protesters, and various maniacs one only encounters on the internet.

Which Corbyn could lead.

The big question is what happens to Labour if Scotland splits from the rest of the UK? They're basically completely stuffed due losing a massive stronghold of (generally) Labour votes. It may have already happened with the rise of the SNP, but that may be relatively temporary (in the long term) and a full spilt would completely remove one of their core areas.

It was a long time ago she must have left a big impression on him
And his friends apparently.

I think I might turn that article into a new diet book. Should work a treat, it's certainly put me off my lunch.

UKIP are getting strong in Wales stealing Traditional Labour votes.

Surely the issue is Corbyn is representing 300,000 people superbly, sadly you need 15million votes to win a general election. I'm more than welcome for him to try to reach out at all those voters who don't vote BUT in so doing he is neglecting or discarding the Labour voters.

Must admit I didnt realise the shadow cabinet was that big. I thought a dozen or so tops. Anyhow, most of those names are not true believers. Only when Jeremy and Diane are left then the real work can begin. A whole cabinet of offspring (oh, and Neil Kinnock as he's hopefully finished in Europe now)
