Is New Politics - as far as JC concerned reading our questions from members of the public (unclear the method of shortlisting them).
Does New politics mean focusing on the granular of the macro?
Does new politics mean not being to give your message clearly - in a year to date - to the public.
Does New Politics mean representing a very narrow section of the population and then assume the non voters will vote and be enough to get into power?
It is a bit like when you say your business is world class or your trying to get to world class - however with that if you think about it you can define what is world class and give examples of it and then assess how you can adapt to get there. The next step on from good to great so to speak.
Being totally honest I'd rather Ed Milliband and Ed Balls - relative to JC and McDonnal they come over as actually competent... And that's saying something.

As for the train thing - well, he hasn't exactly started a war has he?
No, that's the one thing (along with becoming PM) that we can safely say he won't be doing. He gets angry when journo's ask him dim questions, he tried to lamp a journalist because she dared to ask him a question. He got all angry and aggressive yesterday when someone tried to ask him questions about his little video of lies about trains.
He is a seriously unpleasant man. I'm sure he is perfectly nice and reasonable as long as you agree with what he says. he doesn't tolerate dissension though.

The only exit I can see Corbyns ego accepting is retirement on grounds of ill health. Any defeat through the PLP will not be accepted.
He won't do that, he'll see ill health as a weakness, so he won't use it as a cop out. It could force him to quit tho, however, I bet he loves a good lentil! ThunderGuts said:

"One of my first tasks as Prime Minister will be the nationalisation of security services to ensure the protect our workers and hard working union leadership. Under my rule we will nationalise them into one, central tractor production security services unit.
This will be named after the workers they will protect... the Secure Trade And Trade Executive department, or the Securitate for short..."

For some reason Mr Corbyns rabid supporters on Twitter and the like remind me of the Daleks from the end of the 1st series of revamped Dr Who:

I think the leadership election has bought him time in the job to be honest. It's given his more rabid supporters something to concentrate on other than how poorly he is putting himself across to the public at large, so they can feel like they're fighting to win an election and can celebrate when they do. Trouble is, once that's done, Labour are still in opposition and all there is to concentrate after this saga are polling numbers, which aren't looking too promising.
Unless of course they 'uncover' that it's just a smokescreen to discredit St Jeremy by 'The Establishment' (they use that word a lot but don't seem to define it, replace that word with 'Illuminati' in most of their rhetoric and it fits rather well) and make us think that there are working-class people who aren't actually foaming at the mouth to vote for him.
