Who knows what they might achieve - perhaps absolutely nothing which would cheer you up no doubt - but if even 10% became vocal activists, who knows? You don't smile
We don't know, so it might be best to start with what we do know.

What you and Labour need to study and understand is how Labour win and lose elections (assuming that is the aim- is it?). All the evidence is there. Then you can make a plan how to win next time. Clue: assuming an anti-Blairite stance is a curious way to start.

Labour had plenty vocal activists from Owen Jones to Russell Brand and it didn't make any difference last time.

I disagree. 50,000 crustys, students, greenists and trade union wonks does mean a lot; it means policies that no longer appeal to millions of people in the middle ground who actually have aspirations for themselves and their children. At least Miliband, Brown and Blair were actually intelligent, if IMO misguided. EE Corbyn is a fvcking idiot.

Quite. It's 50,000 people that'll vote for a party that's utterly shafted and is, in effect, unelectable. I'd say every Conservative supporter that paid their 3 quid is delighted with that result.

I love the way you think you're being smart whilst completely ignoring the evidence right in front of your face.

JC is now set to breach a long standing convention and appear at a rally in Manchester whilst the Conservative conference is on.

Me?
Smart?

Hardly.

I don't kneel before the God of greed and I don't think the mark of a man (or species) should be measured by their bank balance.

You and your Tory chums operate on a different level to me and I'm thankful for that small mercy.

Now, this evidence?
Of what?

All I've said is you've dismissed 50,000 new Labour members without a thought and that it matters to no one - I disagree and say it matters to those 50,000.

Is there anything else?

Amazing how so many lefties (apparently) can't defend their own positions so simply resort to misrepresenting what other people allegedly stand for...

No, I know your misrespresentation of my outlook, as perfectly exemplified by the post above and your previous post.

I guess this sort of misrepresentation must somehow make you feel better about yourself, as the knowledge that many 'nasty right-wingers' do far, far more than you to help the poorest in society would clearly blow your mind...

Money in itself isn't important, but having enough of it lets you and your family have and do the things that make life worth living. Nice house in a decent area, nice car, holidays, restaurants, retirement savings, all the expensive things that kids want, that's worth working hard for imo.

I measure philanthropists who use their own hard earned to help others considerably more favourably than politicians and their lickspittle acolytes who want to use everybody else's. As long as a man can provide for himself I have no interest in his bank balance, and neither should the state or anyone else.

Elections won and lost. I've made some nice colourful clues to get you started.

I'm sure it does mean something to them, but unless every one of them persuades another 100 each it doesn't matter. He needs to swing Tories in their hundreds of thousands, not sign up the already disaffected who would have voted for Labour anyway.

Again, stop addressing me - your ramblings and sly weasel words mean nothing to me.

Don't waste my time - to coin one of your phrases "add to the thread or fk off".
Or go running to teacher - either way, I don't care.

Well done.

You're getting good at this - from "means nothing" to the quote above in a few simple steps.

Again, it seems that other people share similar views to mine and if you're going to cast aspersions on those who don't agree with you on this thread then don't be surprised if people try and defend themselves on this thread.

Once again, the culprit can't produce an argument and just resorts to insults.

I'm sure if we compared CVs we'd see who the 'thick' one was!
