If it was that easy, why doesn't everyone do it?

Once again, the culprit can't produce an argument and just resorts to insults.

I'm sure if we compared CVs we'd see who the 'thick' one was!
An argument to what?

Technodup posted some nonsense about 50,000 additional Labour members meaning absolutely nothing to anyone - I argued it meant something to at least 50,000 - a point he unwittingly now accepts.

The rest is you attempting to drag me into another pointless 'argument' where you'll goad and twist until your backup team and mods arrive.

If you've anything relevant to ask, go ahead - if not, keep on topic as you've been told.

Bye.

As before, when you stop posting nonsense about what 'Tories and their chums' believe, then people like me will stop responding to those false claims!!

Bye.

Money in itself isn't important, but having enough of it lets you and your family have and do the things that make life worth living. Nice house in a decent area, nice car, holidays, restaurants, retirement savings, all the expensive things that kids want, that's worth working hard for imo.
Are the two posts mutually exclusive?

FFS you don't need to take every comment literally.

They might be inspired. You might be inspired. It still means fk all to the big picture, the country at large, the majority of us who didn't vote for Miliband, Brown, Kinnock or Foot. And who won't vote for Corbyn.

Could you add me to your ignore list please? I'm away to debate with my sofa. It talks more sense.

Once your applause has died down perhaps you could address this:

And remember, those 50,000 'new members' would have voted labour in this year's election in any case. Assuming they were old enough to vote. That didn't help much.
I don't think this is true. I know a few people who signed up to vote for Corbyn, as far as I'm aware none voted Labour at the GE, they either didn't vote or voted Green.

So, after being pushed on the point two or three times its now a 'joke', a throwaway comment?

Got it.

Adding this to 95% of your posts in the Tube thread I guess /ignore is probably the best option smile

Legzr1, why are you so agressive and rude?
If you support Mr Corbyn and his aspirations then fair enough, but there really is no need to abuse those that don't, nor is it appropriate for you to make insulting comments in the way you have.
There is another thread on here that poses the qustion whether those like you, on the left , are less tolerant, your behaviour is firm evidence of that proposition.

As I said elsewhere on PH recently, in most great debates, there is the right side and the shouty side.

If I need bringing up to speed on some big issue, I look at which side is shoutiest, and support the other.

I have to say I gave up on the "Tube thread" because of Lagzr's rude attitude. It's just unpleasant and necessary. I come on Pistonheads for a bit of fun not a full scale argument so I just de-followed the thread.

Fair point.

It stops here.

I'll ignore the main condescending member and be more tolerant of the rest.

So, that's it then?

Don't be upset because I haven't been drawn into your 'bigger' picture or list of Labour leaders in an earlier post.

To be fair, that thread turned nasty when a couple of us were faced with taunts like 'union scum' 'lazy bds' and 'fkers' as well as other lovely stuff from several members of this forum on multiple occasions. Not a peep from a mod or 'official hay market type!!!'.

So, yes, I got rude and unpleasant at times - fire with fire when reason and accuracy fell on deaf ears but nothing worse than I'd have said face to face (although I guess the vitriol would have been turned down a notch or two by some of the brave posters on that thread when in person - PH is good like that).

A shame you used this thread to point out my foibles on that thread and either ignoring or missing the reasons why.

Try making a joke about not being able to go to the boozer with a Muslim chap, that doesn't fly at all.

Nazi hate rhetoric and gross racism went on for days without 'em batting an eyelid, though.

Just out of interest, what are your excuses for all the other threads where you've been equally abusive?

Indeed I did. Sorry you see it that that way, it didn't occur to me as an issue as "the tube thread" had already been mentioned here.
