Quite. Making an issue out of a complete non-issue was stupid, which isn't exectly surprising. Now if he kneels he's a quitter who doesn't even stand up for his republican ideals and if he doesn't then he's a teenage rebel who hasn't grown up, has no respect for tradition and hates the UK. It wasn't like it was even a carefully laid Tory trap, he laid the trap himself and now he's busy trying to push himself in.
