Our local MP, Cat Smith (who I didnt vote for) has taken on a new post for voter engagement and youth affairs. One half is suicide and the other is fluffy beyond belief.
The one thing that's going round many people's heads is taking a position of someone who was either just fired or resigned is too short term and if they're worth their salt, they're better off keeping their heads down and waiting for a 'proper' shadow cabinet.
Labour at the moment, infact since the Milliband still havent found a way to be relevant to people. Too many side agendas without any unity. I wonder if with the amount of resignations and the revolt coming soon (57 letters landing today?) that it'll get to a point where their credibility as opposition is questioned. Corbyn seems too stubborn to walk away from all I've seen of him, there's no way he's going quietly

Even Diane Abbot has pointed out the folly of the vote of no confidence. Another election, he stands, the party votes him back in. Are these MPs really as thick as this makes them sound???
There's no hope for us.
Yes, they only take politics at university because they are too stupid for media studies. There's no hope for us.

But the point here is IF that happens it will split the party not as in civil war literally two or more desperate/separate parties. There's no hope for us.
Whilst I respect Corbyn for wanting to represent those party members who voted him in -300,000 however the "Labour" party was voted in by 10m if he cannot represent those let alone go and get more support then sadly those activists are disillusioned.
Yesterday one was interviewed and it was clear when put to him if it meant not winning an election but keeping Corbyn in would you be happy with that - it's a price worth paying for the democracy of he party and to get those nasty bankers out.
I wonder who will chip in the missing billions in tax revenue to support the existing status quo if said nasty bankers leave?

I noticed that. He is lazy and has no pride in anything. I may stand for labour mp. 75k for the next 4 years, keep my head down stay on the back bench cheer every now and then.

£132k which he has had for well over 5 years, state from 65 but the final salary pensions from 55/60years old.
He is about as far away from representing common people as you could imagine plus pretty much the same salary as Cameron who he thinks is not inline with the common person.
Corbyn owns more than 1 property and his main one is materially over £1m.
So really he sits at the high end of middle England.

Not to mention the sizeable sum of money that he inherited from his parents. Not that I think that is wrong in anyway, but the media gave Cameron a lot of stick over his inheritance, but didn't even mention Corbyn's inheritance. £75k basic
