Has it been established why Corbyn and his entourage didn't book seats when buying the tickets?

Lady Whiteadder: Chairs! You have chairs in your House?
Blackadder: Yes, well...
[she slaps him twice]
Lady Whiteadder: Wicked Child! Chairs are the work of Belezabub! At our house Nathaneal sits on a spike!
Blackadder: And yourself?
Lady Whiteadder: I sit on Nathaneal! Two spikes would be an extravagance.

New politics / man of the people my arse, if one of his disciples paid for the tickets they'll go on the expenses chit anyway.

Dear Jezza, care to spread some of your own considerable wealth...? How exactly will rail travel be any different under a nationalised system...? Answers on a postcard, etc, etc.
rResurrecting the British Rail Pork Pie will unite the nation.
The contents of which could easily be used to fill the cracks currently splitting the Labour Party.

A joy to read some of the comments trying to defend their hero.

I'm getting to like these new kind of politics - it aligns to my lies about buying a scrap or repair 944 off eBay when drunk scoffing Mars bars. My lies 4 years ago served a 1 month ban curly adhered to I suspect Cornyn however will not be pushed to the back benches or any punishment at all for such stupidity. Hmm.

I imagine he had to say that I.e lie in order not to upset the rail / other unions and lose support.

its been said that staff mvoed peopel around to make spaces available in standard class

i think it all comes down to whether you believe there were free seats on that photo - or whetehr you believe they were occupied by peopel you cannot see or bags

i dont think the not sitting in 'reserved' seats is an issue - i dont do it.

Like an alky old tramp.

And as for the one with him holding the bottle of Irn Bru... he's going to have to do better than that to get Scots onside.

I think he's basically a confused and possibly slightly senile old man. He's certainly not got the hang of the press, or social media, or CCTV, or PMQs, or, or...

Virgin claimed that he walked past "unreserved" seats though.

Even if they were all reserved then what's the problem in sitting in them when whomever has reserved them has a zero chance of using them until at least the next stop?
