its been said that staff mvoed peopel around to make spaces available in standard class

i think it all comes down to whether you believe there were free seats on that photo - or whetehr you believe they were occupied by peopel you cannot see or bags

i dont think the not sitting in 'reserved' seats is an issue - i dont do it.
I sit in them but don't get comfy or unpack. 5 mins out of the station that it was booked from I then get comfy... but I can see the risk for Corbyn of that "Corbyn stole my seat, etc" on twitter

Virgin claimed that he walked past "unreserved" seats though.

Even if they were all reserved then what's the problem in sitting in them when whomever has reserved them has a zero chance of using them until at least the next stop?
They said the unreserved seats were not empty - the photos dont look - it depends who you believe

i spose you could sit in reserved seats once the trains move - personally i dont because i just assume someone may come and tell me to move.

---

whilst JC team might be willing to pull stunts, it just seems questionnable that they would pull soemthing like this that has so many obvious flaws. and they could have found an actual train that is packed i am sure if they really wanted to.

No problem unless you were intent on making a problem. Just shows what sort of low life people surround him and he is either to fkin thick to realise it or just to dumb to stop them doing it. He looked like a tramp who had lost his can of Tennants

I think the claim was there were bags and coats on seats from people who had gone to the toilet. It seems unlikely that half a dozen people from the same area would go to the toilets and leave all their stuff, so I assume it was people in the other seat, to which the usual procedure is "excuse me, may I sit here?" (translation: "move your bag immediately or I'll sit on it")

While I am amused by the original story of lying-politician-behaves-like-all-other-lying-politician shocker (!) the online reaction of his devoted masses is hilarious!!

Do they honestly believe Virgin would go to rhe trouble of faking footage?

Possibly the only person in history to be disappointed when he got on a train and found there were seats free.

If they appeared vaguely competent at literally any point so far, I'd agree.

Well Virgin could easily release a lot more CCTV to settle it once and for all - they could release the entire footage for that carriage if they wanted to.

Mr Comrade Corbyn advice regarding reserved seats on a train;

The reserved ticked states from and to stations.

If a seat has a reserved ticket, read it.

If your journey is Point A-C

If the seat is reserved from point A to B, you may not sit on it until the train arrives at B.

If the seat is reserved from point B to C, you may sit on it until the train arrives at B.

If once the train has left the station A, and the seat is reserved A-C, unless they are parachuting on to the train, you may sit on it.

Hope this helps.

Advice regarding politics, give it up. You are st!

No, they said he walked past empty, unreserved seats. From Telegraph article;

"Sir Richard tweeted: “Mr Corbyn & team walked past empty unreserved seats then filmed claim train was ‘ram-packed’.”"

He pulled a stunt like this because, as I have said several times, he has a personality disorder. He is a lying narcissist who honestly believes that he can do no wrong. Even if the empty seats were reserved it still wasn't true that the train was "ram packed".

I'm getting to like these new kind of politics - it aligns to my lies about buying a scrap or repair 944 off eBay when drunk scoffing Mars bars. My lies 4 years ago served a 1 month ban curly adhered to I suspect Cornyn however will not be pushed to the back benches or any punishment at all for such stupidity. Hmm.
Yes, we get it. You're a liar too.

How many times are you going to mention it?!?

If I was sitting in a railway carriage and Corbyn turned up surrounded by a Leftist rabble of aides shouting into their smartphones, he'd get a seat in no time. Mine. I'd rather sit on the roof than share a carriage with that lot.

At worst he is now a liar and not as different from the rest as he claims, at best he can't even manage to ask people to move their bags off the chairs.kind of shows why he can't control his party!

And all this for a rubbish video. "Busy trains, expensive, isn't this a good reason for privatisation?" well no. Not really jezza, it doesn't explain at all why public ownership would be any better.

Completely agree with that.

There's no science of rocketry involved, is there.

I use Virgin to travel down to London a few times a month.

When booking some tickets, you're automatically allocated a seat. You don't choose to reserve one, it just happens and it's often compulsory; you just can't book the ticket without a seat.

Must be some method in the train co's madness, but regardless, most people manage to figure out which seats are up for grabs.
