The Winchester Branch of the Labour Party have come out in support of JC, according to the local rag. The Winchester Branch of the Labour Party FFS, I would imagine it has a similar number of members as the Winchester Branch Davidians.

That's a difficult question to answer this far away from an election, an interesting one to find out will be how many of the old Labour faithful (I vote Labour because my Dad and his Dad before him voted Labour etc) stay true to his band of dingleberries.I find that I know a few people that support him and it has changed the way I see them. In my view supporting Corbyn is more about supporting your own personal myth rather than a real belief that he can govern the country better than alternatives. McDonnell and the likes of Diane Abbot is inexplicable to me. The idea that the British electorate would send out the scruff Corbyn to represent and negotiate for us on the world stage is laughable. And why do they think that we are looking for radical left-wing solutions? I guess they only talk to fellow believers whereas Blair sought out those that disagreed and worked to get them alongside. The Labour party is probably doomed now to a long period in the shadows.
Corbynistas have this idea that they alone believe in social justice etc etc whereas I find that practically everyone supports the sentiments but most mature people realise that it's a very long road, a gradual process and that Capitalism is the most likely way of achieving those objectives even if a few do very much better than the majority in the process.

Am not so sure these days, I live in a traditional labour safe seat full of people who would vote for a chimp wearing a red tie, as "thats what their parents and grandparents voted" I have spoken to a number of people who have advised that the Labour party no longer represents them and for the first time in generations are considering voting elsewhere, but as one said "I don't know which party to vote for any more they are all a shower of shiite"

I used to get a load of pro-Corbyn links popping up on my FB feed due to well-meaning leftie mates - stuff like "Jeremy Corbyn for PM" etc. They've gone very, very quiet and I don't recall seeing them for a while now.
One of the biggest lefties I know has about faced on his view - several months ago he was going on about the next election and was totally unable to see how disastrous the by-elections were and would harp on about how JC was such a great performer in PMQs and was "tearing Cameron a new one". He now thinks Corbyn has no leadership skills and should go. Cracking judgement, eh?
As an aside - has anyone seen stuff from that rabid loon "Another Angry Voice"? Complete cretin.
