The self destruction of the Labour party at its own conference is amusing. It now stands for nothing at all and split all over the place and only trying on a con job in areas like Trident and immigration. It's almost painful to watch someone like Andrew Neil tear them apart on such simple questions and expose that they have no clue and still deciding on what they stand for in so many areas.

and he's here! 11 minutes late.

The little coquette was just toying with us.

He reminds me a little of Sir Alec Guinness in Bridge Over The River Kwai, just before he falls onto the detonator which blows up the bridge.

Sadiq Khan doesn't look so sure when JC says that they are going to win the next election

I understand Chukka has a history of attacking people. I've heard from two completely independent sources that he was something of a school bully.

Simon
He acts like he's still at school.

I can't stand the boy.

Corby

'We are about justice...

campaigning and...

most of all, winning power.'

Good luck with that then!

JC doesn't seem to be taking into account the conservatives who joined to keep him in power and push the party to the left when talking about the party membership figures

He needs to open his mouth and change his foot. What a dick.

The audience didn't exactly request oxygen after that little gem did they.

Most of them look like something from a scene in a zombie apocalypse movie.

That's because most of them took a free bus from the local job centre and it's a day out for the old folk at the home.

to be honest, most are on a week off, paid leave, "on union" leave from government, schools, fire stations etc

Quick question for those that know

How many O, A and degrees do the shadow cabinet have between them ?

I have a better question, how many of them sent their children to the grammar schools they now oppose?

To be fair this is one of Corbyn's best speeches to date and it follows off his best PMQs a couple of weeks back. Ok it is a low bar but by his standards this isn't the car crash it could have been.

Still what he is offering is still totally unpalatable to middle England.

Apparently only the Tories are responsible for not building enough houses lol

Give him credit he talks a good game, shame so many speeches from all politicians simply don't have to be backed up with substance.

Without any comment on what I think, his immigration policy is the nail in his electoral coffin.

In order to win, Labour have to get their core vote back.

The EU vote showed for such people, immigration is a big voting issue.

Going against this so openly (rather than the policy of all parties of doing nothing while talking tough) is complete electoral suicide.

It's like Corbyn wants to lose. I still don't get it.
